    摘要: A display unit for a display panel having a display array. The display array is formed by at least one data line and at least one scan line. During a frame, a voltage of a video signal is provided to the display unit. Before a subsequent frame, the voltage of the video signal stored in a storage capacitor within the display unit discharges through an RC circuit, so that the display unit displays an image with a single gray scale value. Thus, when the display panel displays dynamic images, no overlap occurs.

    摘要: A liquid crystal display (LCD) with improved motion image quality. The LCD displays a frame during a frame time. A pixel of the LCD has a first switch and a second switch. At a first time point, the first switch is turned on by a video scan line, and a video data signal is transmitted to the pixel through a video data line, which make the pixel have first luminance intensity. At a second time point, the second switch is turned on by a particular color signal scan line, and a particular color data signal is transmitted to the pixel through a particular color signal data line, which make the pixel have second luminance intensity smaller than the first luminance intensity. A time interval between the second time point and the first time point is smaller than the frame time and the image dragging phenomenon is avoided.

    摘要: A driving circuit for a display device. The driving circuit serves to drive a light-emitting device. The driving circuit includes a biasing device, a switching transistor, a capacitor and a voltage coupler. This invention incorporates a biasing device to each data line so that the voltage at each end of the biasing device resulting from a flow of the data current through the device is fed to the switching transistor. The voltage at each end of the biasing device is transmitted without attenuation to the terminals of the biasing device through a voltage coupler. Since the voltage at two ends of the light emitting device and the voltage at two ends of the biasing device are identical, the driving current flowing through the light emitting device and the data current are identical.

    摘要: A method of fabricating a thin film transistor for liquid crystal display is provided. A polysilicon island and a gate insulating layer covered on the polysilicon island are formed on a substrate. A metal layer is formed on the gate insulating layer. A pair of trenches exposing predetermined regions of the polysilicon island are formed in the metal layer and the gate insulating layer. P-type impurities are doped into the uncovered polysilicon regions of the polysilicon island. A gate electrode is formed by removing parts of the metal layer and the gate insulating layer. N-type impurities are doped into the exposed portions of the polysilicon island. Thereby LDD regions, and a source and a drain regions are formed at the regions doped with both n-type and p-type impurities and at the regions doped with only n-type impurities respectively.
