摘要： The instant device consists of an insulated hollow interior cabinet built into a home or office wall with exterior doors flush to exterior trim on said walling within a home or office such that when said exterior doors are open, there is seen, a flat top ceiling plate, a flat bottom floor plate, two lateral wall plates and an upwardly inclining posterior plate extending from the back edge of the flat bottom floor plate and a downwardly inclining posterior plate extending from the back edge of the flat top ceiling plate such that both inclining plates meet at a complementary angle with all said plates joined to form one complete hollow interior cabinet unit, characterized likewise by the presence of a hinged drop leaf cover covering the inside face of the upwardly inclining plate when closed and which when opened through an arc exposes four circular apertures and one elliptical aperture in the upwardly inclining plate and which said device serves by way of further components, to wit, hollow chutes positioned by lipping at their respective apices within and upon said apertures and finally spacer cushions to hold said drop leaf cover when resting on said floor bottom surface in an open position, to effect ready and convenient trash and bottle separation for recycling purposes.

摘要： A telephone book holder is described which consists of a spine with two groups of parallel channels in its rear surface. Edges of front and rear covers are dimensioned to be slid into respective channels of each group, the edges being connected to the covers by living hinges. Book retaining wires are pivotally connected at the top end of the spine and can be press fitted to the other end to retain a telephone book in position. Top and bottom caps are securable to the ends of the spine to retain the covers and the wires on the spine. The covers can be replaced without requiring removal of the book or complete detachment of the end caps and the thickness of the book to be held is adjustable by sliding the covers into appropriate channels.

摘要： One method implementation disclosed includes detecting matching leaf cells that are functionally identical (optionally, functionally similar) and assigning matching names for the matching leaf cells to replace original, non-matching names. Optionally, digests can be calculated for the leaf cells and used to detect similarities and/or differences. The matching names are propagated to at least some higher-level cells in the hierarchical design, in place of the original names. The method can further include calculating digests for at least some of the higher level cells after the propagating of the matching names into the higher level cells. Various design matching technologies can be used in combination with cell renaming and new name propagation, not limited to use of digests. Dependency chains can be calculated to improve propagation of names through the hierarchy.

A method of signalling between first and second devices (2,3) linked by a transmission line (8) and of sensing a security violation of the line (8) comprises the steps of (a) transmitting a signal from the first device to the second device, reflecting the signal back to the first device in a manner corresponding to a first bit sequence, receiving the signal thus reflected at the first device, and comparing this signal with the transmitted signal to determine whether there has been a security violation of the line and to extract the first bit sequence.
