    Abstract: A switching device for an electric motor comprises a fixed body, at least one moveable body that can be moved with respect to the fixed body between at least one first and one second position, in which the phases (104, 105, 016) are respectively in a first and a second electrical configuration, and a moving unit configured to move said moveable body between the first and the second position. This moving unit can be selectively coupled to the rotor of the electric motor so as to rotate with it and comprises a selecting device operationally placed between the rotor and the moveable body of the switching device and configured to transform each revolution of the rotor into a movement of the moveable body between the first and the second position.

    Abstract: A brush holding assembly for an excited-rotor electric machine includes a casing including two ducts flanking each other and developing along a direction between first and second ends, at least two brushes each housed capable of sliding in a respective duct and projecting outwardly to the second end and a connecting member arranged to connect with an electric current generation unit associated with said casing at the first end. The assembly also includes presser members associated with the brushes and configured to push the brushes towards the second end to keep them pressed on the respective tracks of a rotating manifold of a rotor and at least two conductive elements developing along the direction, each operatively interposed between a respective brush and the connecting member and configured to deform along the direction in order to follow the movement of the brush imparted by the presser members.

    Abstract: An electronic ignition system for an internal combustion engine comprises an ignition coil (2) provided with at least a primary winding (3) and a secondary winding (4), a switch (6) connected to the primary winding (3) and drivable in an open and/or closed position according to the value of a driving signal, a control unit (7) associated to the switch (6) and configured to drive it in open and/or closed position according to the value of the driving signal (G). Such system also comprises a voltage changing electronic element (8) connected to the electrical connection (5), operatively interposed between the electrical connection (5) and the primary winding (3), and configured to change the voltage value of the primary winding (3) according to the value of a control signal between at least a first (V1) and a second (V2) voltage value. The system also comprises a ionization measuring device (20) around said discharge gap (100a) of the spark plug (100) associated with the secondary winding (4) and arranged to detect a current value in the secondary winding (4) and to send a signal representative of said value to the control unit (7), wherein the control unit (7) is configured to activate said measuring device (20) upon the shutdown of the electric arc or spark.
