摘要: A power factor correction device includes a power supply side which can be connected to an alternating current source, an output side which can be connected to a direct current load, at least a first power inductor electrically connected in series to a first terminal of the power supply side, and a rectifier operatively interposed between the power supply side and the output side. The rectifier includes a diode bridge configured to convert the alternating current from the source into a direct current towards the load, and one or more switches which can be selectively switched between an open configuration and a closed configuration in order to switch the rectifier between a first configuration, in which it interrupts the current flow towards the output side and charges the first inductor, and a second configuration, in which it allows the transfer of current to the load and discharges the first inductor. A second power inductor is electrically connected in series to a second terminal of the power supply side.

摘要: A method for measuring an earth resistance in a battery charging system, including the steps of injecting a measuring signal in alternating current between a first, neutral node and a second, earth node, detecting a voltage signal representing an electrical potential difference between the first and the second node, processing the voltage signal so as to extract a first signal having a frequency equal to that of the measuring signal and a phase correlated thereto, and calculating an earth resistance value as a function of a ratio between the measuring signal and a reference value of said first signal.

摘要: A method for protecting an on-board charging device includes the steps of detecting the phase and neutral voltages coming from the grid, detecting a current signal representing a compensation current generated by a compensation circuit, combining the phase voltages together so as to obtain a homopolar voltage signal, squaring the current signal and the homopolar voltage signal so as to obtain a first square current wave and a second square voltage wave, combining the first and second square waves together so as to generate an output signal having a first logic level when the first and second square waves are in phase and a second logic level when the first and second square waves are out of phase, generating a voltage increasing in proportion to the duration of each section of the output signal having the first value, comparing the voltage value with a limit value and generating an alarm signal when the voltage level exceeds the limit value.

摘要: A bidirectional DC-to-DC converter includes first terminals connected to a direct current source, second terminals connected to a load that can be supplied with direct current, a transformer stage including a primary and a secondary circuit that can be magnetically coupled to each other, a switching stage operatively interposed between the two first terminals and the primary circuit and a rectifier stage operatively interposed between the two second terminals and the secondary circuit. A control unit is configured to drive the switching stage and the rectifier stage. The control unit is configured to switch a first switch of the primary circuit and a second switch of the secondary circuit between an open and a closed condition as a function of the level of power transferred by the transformer stage and/or the direction of the energy flow, to change the topology of the primary circuit and/or the secondary circuit.
