摘要: A solution for multiple base station collaborative communication in TDD (Time Division Duplex) and FDD (Frequency Division Duplex) systems is provided. To be specific, a serving base station and coordinating base station transmit detection signals with specific Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) features on one or more communication resources. The mobile station measures the detection signals on the one or more communication resources and generates indication information of the recommended collaborative communication modes based on the measurement results. Preferably the indexes of the time-frequency resources corresponding to the recommended collaborative communication modes are reported to the serving base station. Then the serving base station schedules at least one of the one or more mobile stations according to the indication information reported by the one or more stations and provides MIMO communication manner for the mobile station scheduled. The coverage of the cells is improved, the cell edge user throughput is increased and the inter-cell interference between neighboring base stations is decreased by exploiting the invention. Preferably the amount of uplink feedback information is decreased and the uplink bandwidth is saved.

摘要: A method and device for performing Multi-Input Multi-Output transmission to a mobile terminal in the base station devices of a wireless communication system is provided. Each base station device determines the sector coordination group used at a certain frequency band according to system settings. Each base station device only performs multiple-sector (-cell) collaborative MIMO transmission in the sector coordination group which includes the sectors governed by the base station device. A simple and effective method is provided for realizing the multiple-sector (-cell) MIMO technology, its advantages including but not limited to there being a reduced amount of information exchanged between sectors (cells), which facilitates implementation and management, and good performance in controlling interface between sectors (cells).

摘要: Methods, procedures, apparatuses, computer programs, computer-accessible mediums, processing arrangements and systems generally related to data multi-casting in a distributed processor architecture are described. Various implementations may include identifying a plurality of target instructions that are configured to receive a first message from a source; providing target routing instructions to the first message for each of the target instructions including selected information commonly shared by the target instructions; and, when two of the identified target instructions are located in different directions from one another relative to a router, replicating the first message and routing the replicated messages to each of the identified target instructions in the different directions. The providing target routing instructions may further comprise the selected information utilizing a subset of bits that is commonly shared by the target instructions and being identified as a left operand, right operand or predicate operand, and may include the selection of one of a plurality of multiple-instruction subsets of the target instructions.

摘要: An embodiment of the invention relates to a power converter including an inductor coupled in series with a power switch and a resistor coupled to a winding of the inductor. Input and output power converter voltages including an input brownout condition or an output overvoltage condition are estimated, and the output voltage may be regulated, by sensing a current in the resistor. An input current waveform can thereby be controlled to replicate substantially the input voltage waveform. The controller adjusts an on time and terminates an off time of the power switch by sensing respectively a current and a change of current in the resistor. The controller may sense a current flowing in the resistor to select a line voltage range of the input voltage to the power converter. The controller may estimate an input current to the power converter employing the current flowing in the resistor.

摘要: A method and system for estimating global motion in digital imaging applications with confidence level filtering. Motion search yields a plurality of vectors describing the movement of feature blocks from one frame to another. A confidence level is assigned to each motion vector. Based on the confidence levels, vectors are given more or less weight when estimating global motion. High-confidence vectors are given more weight than low-confidence vectors. Embodiments for estimating both the magnitude of global motion and the magnitude and direction of global motion are disclosed.

摘要: Methods of forming a metal carbide film are provided. In some embodiments, a substrate is exposed to alternating pulses of a transition metal species and plasma-excited argon. The transition metal species is reacted with a carbon species to deposit a metal carbide film. The substrate is exposed to the carbon species simultaneously with the transition metal species, or the substrate is exposed to the carbon species in pulses temporally separated from the pulses of the transition metal species. In some embodiments, the carbon species and the transition metal species form parts of the same precursor compound, e.g., a metal organic compound.
