Abstract:
The variable data workflow system and method of the present invention can provide a one:many relationship between input/variables and a plurality of different types of items produced by the system and method. The invention allows for the collection of data and further analysis of recipients, in particular for adding them to further campaigns.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus of an alarm management system (114) for dynamically prioritizing network conditions for a communication system (100) is disclosed. The alarm management system includes a receiver (116) and processor (118) for receiving one of a plurality of alarm conditions indicating a fault in a device within the communication system and classifying the alarm condition. The alarm management system also determines a status of the device and rates the alarm by comparing the classification of the alarm condition with the status of the device. The rated alarm condition can then be ranked against another of the plurality of alarms. The alarm management system then re-evaluates the ranking of alarm condition by repeating the determining and rating steps and then ranks the re-evaluated rated alarm condition against other alarm conditions.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus of providing workflows (400-404) to the operators of network management systems (114) and subsystems (202-208) is disclosed. The method identifies a plurality of tasks (210-228) that can be accomplished by at least one of the subsystem accessible for the workflows and groups the tasks into a plurality of roles (302-308) wherein each role includes at least one task to be performed. The roles are grouped into the workflows according to the roles needed to address an alarm condition. The workflow can be provided to an operator with a user interface (600).
Abstract:
A valve for controlling a fluid, in particular for controlling a gas, is described, encompassing a valve housing an actuation unit for an at least locally tubular valve armature which is guided axially displaceably and is equipped with a valve closure member by which a fluid flow between an inflow side and an outlet side is controllable and which coacts with a valve seat. The valve armature comprises a guidance collar in a region remote from the valve closure member, and is equipped with a second guidance in a region offset with respect to the guidance collar.
Abstract:
An atomizer nozzle for fuels, particularly for charging a chemical reformer for obtaining hydrogen, features a nozzle body, having spray-discharge orifices discharging into a metering space, and at least one metering aperture, The spray-discharge orifices are situated with a radial directional component with respect to a center axis of the nozzle body at elevation levels, each elevation level having at least one spray-discharge orifice. At least one nozzle body insert, having at least one flow-through opening, is situated in the nozzle body in front of the first elevation step in the direction of fuel flow and/or between the elevation steps.
Abstract:
An atomizer nozzle for fuels, in particular for feeding them into a chemical reformer for obtaining hydrogen, has a nozzle body containing spray-discharge orifices that discharge into a metering space, and has at least one metering aperture. The spray-discharge orifices are situated at elevation levels so as to have a radial directional component with respect to a center line of the nozzle body, each elevation step having at least one spray-discharge orifice, and the spray-discharge orifices of at least one elevation level being connected to at least one channel of a nozzle-body insert that has at least one flow-through opening.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a reforming system for a fuel cell, including an evaporating device for evaporating a raw fuel and for delivering the evaporated raw fuel to a reforming unit, at least one pump for metering the raw fuel that is conducted into the evaporating device, and a control unit. At least one pump is a metering pump, whose rpm is regulated by means of the control unit. Moreover, at least one monitoring device serves to monitor the metering quantity of the raw fuel through the regulated metering pump.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a system for mounting a series of interconnected decorative panels onto the outer surface of a building. The system includes adjacent supporting means attached to the building outer surface. A first male flange is attached to the first end of the supporting means, while a second female flange is attached to the second end of the supporting means. An intermediate connector attaches a panel gripping means holding a panel to each flange. These panels are interconnected in series by coupling the male flange to the female flange.
