摘要: An accessibility service tool providing accessibility services on demand for converting between content types and program product therefore. Media input, e.g., audio or audio/video is provided to a transformation and augmentation unit that determines from the media content what type of conversion is required and what service is being requested. An auction manager negotiates with service providers and selects one or more service provider for converting the input content into accessible content that is provided instead of or with the original content. Content conversion may be automatic or manual. Manual conversion may be used in background training for automatic conversion.

摘要: Systems and methods are provided for processing and executing commands in automated systems. For example, command processing systems and methods are provided which can automatically determine, evaluate or otherwise predict consequences of execution of misrecognized or misinterpreted user commands in automated systems and thus prevent undesirable or dangerous consequences that can result from execution of misrecognized/misinterpreted commands.

摘要: Techniques for improving the efficiency of foreign accent/language communications processing are disclosed. For example, in one aspect of the invention, a technique for processing a call received by a call center, includes the following steps/operations. A call is obtained. Then, at least one of an accent and a language spoken by a caller making the call is identified. The call is then directed to an appropriate operator at a first level of the call center based on at least one of the automatically identified accent and the automatically identified language. The techniques may also include multiple-purpose editing, automated translation, and restating methodologies.

摘要: A verbal description method and system. A computing system broadcasts first audio data and video data associated with the first audio data. The computing system determines that the video data comprises a graphic without a description in the first audio data. The computing system receives audible description data associated with the graphic. The computing system generates second audio data comprising the first audio data and the audible description data. The computing system synchronizes portions of the second audio data with associated portions of the video data. The computing system generates synchronized audio/video data comprising the portions of said second audio data aligned with the associated portions of said video data. The computing system broadcasts the synchronized audio/video data.

摘要: An audio system and method. The audio system comprises a sensing device and a memory device. The memory device comprises a list of groups of gesture types. A first specified audio sound is stored within the memory device. A user programs a first association between the first specified audio sound and a first specified gesture received by the sensing device. The first specified gesture is associated with a first group from the list of groups. The first association is stored within the memory device. The audio file is amplified by the audio system. The user uses the sensing device to perform the first specified gesture. The audio system recognizes the first specified gesture as a gesture from the first group. The audio system enables and amplifies the first specified audio sound and integrates the first specified audio sound with the audio file.

摘要: Using metadata to detect alteration of data. A first set of metadata characteristics including at least one respective semantic description are recorded for a first set of data representing original data. A second set of metadata characteristics including at least one corresponding semantic description are recorded for a second set of data representing data under test. The first and second sets of metadata characteristics are compared. If the first and second sets of metadata characteristics are not identical, these sets are processed to identify locations in the first set of data that have been altered. Using the at least one semantic description for the first set of data and the at least one corresponding semantic description for the second set of data, one or more metadata characteristics that have changed from the first set of data to the second set of data are identified.
