Abstract: A monolithic swing bed absorption apparatus including a first bed. The first bed including a bed housing including a first side and a second side, a first manifold section extending from the first side to the second side within the bed housing, a filtration section extending from the first side to the second side within the bed housing, and a second manifold section extending from the first side to the second side within the bed housing. The filtration section being interposed between the first manifold section and the second manifold section. The monolithic swing bed absorption apparatus is a single piece including a unitary structure.

Abstract: Disclosed is a tube assembly for a shell and tube heat exchanger, the tube assembly having: a plurality of tubes respectively extending in a lengthwise direction L to a respective plurality of opposing ends at respective opposing internal ends of the heat exchanger, the plurality of tubes being collectively arranged in a first grid pattern, wherein the plurality of tubes form a respective plurality of grid nodes; and a plurality of fins connecting the plurality of tubes to form a respective plurality of grid edges, the plurality of fins extending to opposing ends of the plurality of tubes, wherein the plurality of fins each include a plurality of through holes formed therein.

Abstract: A heat exchanger has a plurality of outer walls and at least one inner wall. A first fluid port communicates a first fluid into a chamber on one side of the at least one inner wall and a second port communicates a second fluid into a second chamber on an opposed side of the at least one inner wall. A plurality of pins extends from the inner wall in at least one of the chambers. The plurality of pins has a generally frusto-conical outer surface. A method is also disclosed and claimed.

Abstract: A heat exchanger has an outer shell enclosing an inner chamber and extending between a first inlet and a first outlet. The chamber receives a separating wall. The shell extends between axial ends, and generally along a helix. The helix is defined with the wall moving in a continuous manner along a first axial direction and with a circumferential component between the first inlet and the first outlet. A plurality of tubes extend through openings in the separating wall and generally along a helix. The plurality of tubes extend from a second inlet and a second outlet, and with the helix defined along the first axial direction and with a component in a circumferential direction. A method and a temperature control system are also disclosed.
