    摘要: Methods, systems, and apparatus for cooling particulates are provided. A method can include introducing particulates and water to a first vessel to provide a fluidized bed of particulates and cooling the fluidized bed of particulates in the first vessel to obtain first cooled particulates. The method can also include recovering the first cooled particulates from the first vessel and introducing the first cooled particulates to a heat exchanger comprising a plurality of tubulars. The method can also include introducing a coolant to the plurality of tubulars, flowing the first cooled particulates through a shell side of the heat exchanger and contacting at least a portion of the first cooled particulates with the plurality of tubulars, recovering a heated coolant from the plurality of tubulars, and recovering second cooled particulates from a particulate outlet.

    摘要: A heat exchanger assembly comprising a tube with a thermally conductive tube insert sealed therein, the tube insert having a substantially similar cross-section to the cross-section of the tube, and a plurality of fluid ports for passage of fluid into and out of the tube, the fluid ports arranged for counterflow operation. The tube insert includes a pair of helices extending along the length of the tube insert, the helices having first and second sides offset from each other by a predetermined distance along the length of the tube insert and first and second ends, each of the first ends offset from the other by a predetermined angle and each of the second ends offset from the other by a predetermined angle. The tube insert is sealed within the tube to form a first fluid flow path and a second fluid flow path, the first fluid flow path defined between the first sides of the helices and the second fluid path defined between the second sides of the helices.

    摘要: The heat exchanger uses multi-layer tubes, performing efficient heat exchange. Each heat transfer tube includes an outer tube and an inner tube. Header unit directs first fluid through gaps between the inner tube and the outer tube from outer circumferences of the inner tube. The header units are stacked in a top-bottom direction with gap-forming members therebetween, leaving predetermined gap portion. Furthermore, a header cover directs the second fluid through the inner tubes extending from the header units, and is fitted from the outer side, and the second fluid is introduced. With this configuration, the second fluid flowing from the header cover is directed through the inside of the inner tubes and over outer surfaces of the outer tubes along the axial direction via the gap portions, enabling heat exchange to be performed from both inside and outside of the outer tubes.

    摘要: A cooling system for use in a shell-type reactor includes vertically extending double tubes with an inner tube and an outer tube closed at its lower end. The system also includes a distributor for supplying a fluid cooling medium into the upper end of the inner tubes and a horizontally extending plate, which on its upper surface includes at least two upwardly open, parallel grooves. Two adjacent grooves are separated by a common inner wall. At least one outer tube, having an upper end, is disposed in each groove, through the plate. Each outer tube is tightly welded to the plate on the groove base. The upper, open side of each groove is closed with a lid, so that each groove forms a collector for discharging the cooling medium from the outer tubes. Each inner tube opens through the lid into a distributor and is tightly attached to the lid.
