Provided in embodiments of the present application are a method and terminal for handling CSI. The embodiments of the present invention use the terminal to measure and report to a base station first CSI, where the first CSI comprises a first RI, a first PMI, and a first CQI, to acquire a second RI and/or a second PMI on the basis of the first CSI, thus allowing the terminal to utilize the second RI to measure and report to the base station the PMI and CQI corresponding to the second RI; or, the terminal utilizes the second RI and the second PMI to measure and report to the base station the CQI corresponding to the second RI and to the second PMI; or, the terminal utilizes the second PMI to measure and report to the base station the RI and CQI corresponding to the second PMI.
Abstract:
A method and a device for measuring channel quality are provided. The method includes: receiving first signal characteristic information and second signal characteristic information sent by a network side, where the first signal characteristic information is used to indicate a first signal, and the second signal characteristic information is used to indicate a second signal; receiving a downlink signal sent by each node in multiple nodes, obtaining a downlink channel response and downlink interference of each node respectively according to the first signal and the second signal in the downlink signal sent by each node; obtaining downlink channel quality information of each node according to the downlink channel response and the downlink interference of each node; and reporting the downlink channel quality information of each node to the network side. According to embodiments of the present invention, overheads for the node to send signaling is greatly lowered.

A cell configuration method includes: determining, by a first base station corresponding to a first cell, system information of a second cell; and notifying, by the first base station, a second base station corresponding to the second cell of the system information, so that the second base station sends and receives signals according to the system information. According to solutions provided in embodiments of the present application, system information of a cell may be dynamically or semi-statically adjusted according to user equipment distribution and service distribution.

The present disclosure relates to methods for determining a precoding matrix indicator, user equipment, and base stations. One example method includes sending a first reference signal set to user equipment, where the first reference signal set is associated with a user equipment-specific matrix set, and receiving a precoding matrix indicator (PMI) sent by the user equipment, where the PMI is used for indicating a precoding matrix that is selected based on the first reference signal set by the user equipment.

Embodiments of the present invention provide a channel-state information process processing method, a network device, and a user equipment, where the channel-state information process processing method includes: after receiving a first channel-state information CSI request sent by a first network device, if CSI corresponding to multiple aperiodic CSI processes has not been reported by a user equipment, dropping CSI corresponding to a part of aperiodic CSI processes among the multiple aperiodic CSI processes, where each CSI process is associated with a channel measurement resource and an interference measurement resource. A problem existing after a CoMP technology is introduced can be solved that the UE cannot implement processing of multiple CSI processes.

Embodiments of the present invention provide a control channel resource transmission method including: obtaining, by a user equipment, a configuration parameter in a candidate control channel set according to a preset protocol and/or higher-layer signaling sent by a base station, where the higher-layer signaling is used to notify the configuration parameter; determining an antenna port according to the obtained configuration parameter; receiving, by using the antenna port, a control channel or a control channel element sent by the base station; and determining, by the base station, the antenna port according to the same configuration parameter as that of the user equipment, and sending, by using the antenna port, the control channel or the control channel element to the user equipment. The embodiments of the present invention are applicable to control channel resource transmission.

The present invention discloses information notification, information reporting, and data receiving methods and devices, so that a UE performs more precise CQI measurement on a specific measurement resource, or a UE receives data more efficiently on a specific transmission resource. A base station determines at least two resource groups and channel state information CSI configuration information corresponding to each of the resource groups, where the at least two resource groups and the CSI configuration information need to be notified to a user equipment UE, and the CSI configuration information is used to indicate a CSI candidate set; and the base station notifies the UE of the at least two resource groups and the CSI configuration information corresponding to each of the resource groups.
