According to the present invention, a control panel assembly for a laundry machine which has a control panel cover for defining an exterior thereof, a PCB having various electric sub-assemblies mounted thereon and a display part, wherein the display part is a transparent window having at least one hole formed thereon and a button is provided trough the hole of the transparent window for allowing a user to operate outside. An object of the present invention is to provide a control panel assembly for a laundry machine having a conveniently direct structure for a user's operation.
Abstract:
A projection lens unit and a thin projector using the same are disclosed. The projection lens unit includes a plurality of lens sets for emitting light carrying an image, and a reflector arranged between adjacent ones of the lens sets or at a downstream end of the lens sets, and adapted to change a direction of light incident on the reflector.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein is an architecture of connecting a transceiver module for an optical PCB, in which an active photo-electric element and other components to be integrated in the optical PCB having waveguides are packaged, waveguides arranged in the optical PCB, and an optical connection block for optical coupling between the transceiver module and the waveguides of the optical PCB. Guide pin insertion holes are formed at one sides of the ends of the waveguides such that the optical PCB, the transceiver module and the optical connection block can be passively aligned using guide pins inserted into the guide pin insertion holes.
Abstract:
A button assembly of a control panel assembly, which includes buttons each enabling execution of a selected operation of a drum washing machine when pressed, is disclosed. The button assembly includes a control panel provided with a plurality of button holes, a printed circuit board fixedly mounted to a rear surface of the control panel, a vertical rib attached to the control panel, a plurality of vertically-arranged horizontal ribs each having one end connected to the vertical rib, a plurality of buttons each connected to the other end of an associated one of the horizontal ribs, and slidably fitted in an associated one of the button holes, and flow guides each adapted to guide water, penetrating an associated one of the button holes, downward along a predetermined flow path.
Abstract:
A door assembly for a washing machine is provided. The door assembly is rotatably attached to a case of the washing machine so as to cover/uncover an opening for loading/unloading the laundry. A frame of the door assembly includes an outer frame and an inner frame connected to the outer frame. A window is provided at a center of the frame. The handle is engaged and secured with at least one of the outer frame and the inner frame without using a fixing member such as a screw or a bolt.
Abstract:
A method of controlling water supply in an automatic washer controls one or more water supply valves according to predetermined times for momentarily turning off the water supply valve until a predetermined water level is reached, to prevent flooding and a resulting contamination of a detergent box area and to control a mixing of agents with the supplied water. The automatic washer has at least one water supply valve for supplying the water to a tub via a detergent box and a water level detector for detecting a level of the water suppled to the tub. The method includes turning on the at least one water supply valve during a first predetermined time; and turning off, after elapse of the first predetermined time, the at least one water supply valve during a second predetermined time and further comprises repeating the above turning on and turning off until the level of the water supplied to the tub reaches a predetermined water level. The first predetermined time is proportional to a volume of the detergent box, and the second predetermined time is inversely proportional to the volume of the detergent box
Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a still operation of a washing machine, and more particularly, a washing machine which includes an operation condition of the washing machine in correspondence with each of a plurality of stillness modes and operates according to the operation condition corresponding to any one selected from the plurality of stillness modes. The washing machine includes a controller which, by the selection of any one of a plurality of stillness modes which are distinguished according to a stillness degree of an operation, controls the washing machine according to an operation condition corresponding to the selected stillness mode.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a washing machine having an enhanced exterior. The present invention includes a housing, a tub in the housing, a drum rotatably installed in the tub to hold a laundry, and a driving means for rotating the drum. And, the drum includes a plurality of lifters on an inner circumference of a sidewall of the drum, a multitude of perforated holes at the sidewall between the lifters, and a joint portion extending on the sidewall in a length direction to be indistinguishable from the lifters and the perforated holes.
Abstract:
A drum type washer is disclosed, by which a replacement of a washing ball provided to a lift is facilitated and by which a volume of a drum can be increased. The present invention includes a tub, a drum rotatably provided within the tube, and a lift provided within the drum, the lift including a base part detachably assembled to an inner surface of the drum and a cover part detachably assembled to the base part to enable a replacement of a washing ball, wherein an exposing hole is provided to a surface of the cover part to expose a portion of the washing ball and wherein a width of the cover part is decreased toward a front side of the cover part from a rear side of the cover part.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a method for manufacturing a component-embedded printed circuit board that is economically advantageous and simple. The method is characterized by stacking boards in which a high density of electronic components are mounted to form a core layer in which the electronic components are embedded, and by subsequently building up additional circuit layers.
