Abstract: Calcium carbonate which has an average particle size in the range of from 0.5 to 3 μm is used in an inorganic mortar system for a chemical fastening of anchors and post-installed reinforcing bars in mineral substrates. The system includes a curable aluminous cement component A and an initiator component B for initiating the curing process. The component A includes at least one blocking agent selected from phosphoric acid, metaphosphoric acid, phosphorous acid and phosphonic acids, at least one plasticizer, and water. The component B includes an initiator, at least one retarder, at least one mineral filler, and water. Moreover, the calcium carbonate increases load values. Further, a method is used for a chemical fastening of anchors and post-installed reinforcing bars in mineral substrates, such as structures made of brickwork, concrete, pervious concrete or natural stone.

Abstract: An insulating layer-forming composition, which contains an epoxy thiol-ene based binding agent is provided. The composition, the expansion rate of which is relatively high, enables coatings to be applied in the layer thickness required for the fire-resistance time concerned in a simple and rapid manner, wherein the layer thickness can be reduced to a minimum and a high insulating effect can still be achieved. The composition is especially suitable for fire protection control, more particularly as a coating of metallic and non-metallic substrates, for example steel components such as pillars, supports or frame members, for increasing the fire-resistance time.

Abstract: A reaction resin composition that can be used for the chemical fastening of anchoring means in boreholes and for construction gluing is described. The composition includes (A) a resin component, which contains at least one radically hardenable compound and at least one epoxy resin, which contains, on average, more than one epoxy group per molecule, and a (B) hardener component, which contains a hardening agent for at least one radical compound and at least one amine. The radically hardenable compound and hardening agent in each case being reaction-inhibiting spatially separated from one another. In an embodiment the composition contains no Cu—, Mn—, and iron compound, and no bridging compound. The ratio of double bond value to epoxy value nDB:nEP in the resin component is between 0.01 and 0.55 or between 5 and 50.

Abstract: A packaging for multi-component adhesives comprises (1) a first section which contains at least three individual components of the multi-component adhesive and (2) a second section which contains at least two individual components of the multi-component adhesive. The individual components of the multi-component adhesive are distributed to the two sections in such a way that a reaction between the individual components is prevented and hardening of the adhesive takes place only after complete mixture of the individual components. This makes stable storage of the components possible.
