Abstract: A concrete product set by pouring a concrete slurry which includes a concrete mixture; a lithium-coated colloidal silica admixture; and optionally, at least one reinforcing fiber selected from the group of fibers. As the poured concrete slurry cures, the poured slurry hardens into a composite material product, and the concrete product defines capillary structures that at least in part fill with lithium-coated silica and lime. In another exemplary embodiment, wherein optional graphene oxide is used in the concrete slurry, the surrounding aggregate and cement is embedded with graphene oxide flakes. In another exemplary embodiment, the present invention is directed to a process for placing a jointless and/or fiberless slab. The process includes the steps of preparing a concrete slurry; pouring the concrete slurry onto substrate; and allowing the concrete slurry to cure. In another exemplary embodiment, the present invention is directed to the product itself.

Abstract: Multi-component synthetic mortar fixing system, especially for fixing anchoring elements in building substrates, which comprises in one component reactive synthetic resins (i) based on urethane (meth)acrylate, (ii) based on epoxy resin or (iii) based on free-radical-hardening (or -hardenable) unsaturated reactive resins, in a further component hardener, and at least one filler selected from oxides of silicon and aluminium, or mixed oxides in the presence of further cations, the d50 average particle size of which is 50 μm or less, and also especially a silane having at least one hydrolysable group, and also its use, methods including its use in fixing anchoring elements in building substrates and related subject-matter.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates slip techniques for lost casting cores. The teachings thereof may be embodied in methods for producing a slip for use in casting, e.g., for production of complex metal blades in gas turbines. Some embodiments may include methods for producing a slip comprising: mixing at least one inorganic constituent with at least one first binder; and forming a slip with the mixture. The first binder may include a mixture of at least one epoxy resin and at least one sterically hindered amine as hardener.
