摘要: Metadata items commonly included in all sets are specified and displayed as common metadata items. When the user selects one of the displayed common metadata items as a designated common metadata item, metadata values in respective sets of an item indicated by this designated common metadata item are classified to any of a plurality of classification items determined based on the set condition. The plurality of classification items are list-displayed. When the user selects one of these plurality of classification items as a selected classification item, icons of contents data as sets with the metadata values classified to this selected classification item, and common metadata items other than the designated common metadata item of the displayed common metadata items are displayed.

摘要: An information processing apparatus that has a touch panel that is able to detect a plurality of touch input positions concurrently extracts a combination consisting of a predetermined number of touch input positions from a plurality of touch input positions that concurrently exist on the touch panel, and based on a positional relationship of the touch input positions constituting the combination that is extracted, determines whether or not the combination is an area designation operation of a single user. When it is determined that the combination is an area designation operation, the information processing apparatus specifies a designated area based on touch input positions of the combination, and acquires a selected object based on a relationship between the specified area and a display position of the object.

摘要: A data reproducing apparatus detects an unreadable portion of content data and requests, via a network, compensation data for compensating for the unreadable portion from a compensation-data supplying apparatus. The data reproducing apparatus reproduces content by switching between a readable portion of the content data and the compensation data supplied from the server. The reproduction of content including a portion that cannot be read or easily read is thus achieved.

摘要: The present multi-processor system performs information processing suitably. The system can receive, reproduce and record a variety of image contents. By comprising a powerful CPU in the multi-processors, a plurality of pieces of large image data, such as high definition image data or the like, can be processed simultaneously in parallel, which was difficult conventionally. Since task processing, such as demodulation processing or the like, is assigned respectively in view of the remaining processing capacity of each of the plurality of processors, the system can reproduce contents efficiently. By sharing roles, a plurality of different contents, such as an image, a voice, or the like can be processed simultaneously and can be displayed or reproduced at a desired timing.

摘要: A compressor has a cam plate located in a crank chamber and mounted on a drive shaft and a piston coupled to the cam plate and located in a cylinder bore. The piston compresses gas supplied to the cylinder bore from a separate external circuit by way of a suction chamber and discharges the compressed gas to the external circuit by way of a discharge chamber. The cam plate is tiltable between a maximum inclined angle position and a minimum inclined angle position with respect to a plane perpendicular to an axis of the drive shaft according to a difference between the pressure in the crank chamber and the pressure in the cylinder bore. The piston moves by the stroke based on an inclination of the cam plate to control the displacement of the compressor. A valve is placed between the discharge chamber and the external circuit. The valve selectively connects and disconnects the discharge chamber with the external circuit based on a difference between the pressure acting on the upstream side of the valve and the pressure acting on the downstream side of the valve.

摘要: A variable displacement compressor includes a crank chamber for housing a cam plate, a suction chamber, and a discharge chamber. The apparatus includes a first passage connecting the crank chamber with the discharge chamber to discharge the pressure in the crank chamber to the suction chamber to change the suction pressure. A second passage connects the discharge chamber with the crank chamber to supply the pressure from the discharge chamber to the crank chamber increase the pressure in the crank chamber. A valve is disposed in the second passage to open or close the second passage. When the cam plate speed exceeds a certain predetermined amount, a solenoid is actuated to increase the size of the valve opening. As such, the load on the compressor during high speed rotation of the compressor drive shaft is reduced and the durability of the compressor is increased.

摘要: A control valve in a variable displacement compressor is disclosed. The compressor adjusts the discharge displacement based on control of the inclination of a swash plate located in a crank chamber. The compressor includes a supply passage for connecting a discharge chamber with the crank chamber to supply the gas from the discharge chamber to the crank chamber and a bleeding passage for connecting the crank chamber with a suction chamber to release the gas from the crank chamber to the suction chamber. The control valve includes a first valve mechanism for selectively opening and closing the supply passage, a second valve mechanism for adjusting the flow rate of the gas released from the crank chamber to the suction chamber through the bleeding passage, and a solenoid mechanism for actuating the first valve mechanism and the second valve mechanism. The first valve mechanism and the second valve mechanism operate independently. The first valve mechanism, the second valve mechanism and the solenoid mechanism are retained in a single housing.
