    摘要: A thermoplastic resin is stabilized by incorporating therein a dinitrodiamine compound represented by the formula of ##STR1## wherein X is a divalent aliphatic, alicyclic or aromatic group which may contain halogen or oxygen in the group, R.sup.1 is hydrogen or an aliphatic, alicyclic or aromatic group, provided that two nitrogen atoms linking through X may further link through R.sup.1 when both X and R.sup.1 are the aliphatic groups, and R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 independently of one another are each hydrogen or an alkyl of 1 to 12 carbon atoms, provided that R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 may conjointly form a ring. The composition thus blended is improved in thermal processing stability. Further, a modified polyolefin resin is improved in mechanical properties, particularly in impact strength, by the incorporation of the dinitrodiamine compound.

    摘要: A thermoplastic resin composition which comprises 100 parts by weight of a composition comprising 95-5% by weight of at least one polyolefin-resin (A) selected from homopolymers of ethylene or .alpha.-olefin or copolymers thereof and these homopolymers or copolymers modified with a polyfunctional compound (E) and/or an unsaturated monomer (L) and 5-95% by weight of at least one polyphenylene-ether-resin (B) selected from polyphenylene ether, modified polyphenylene ether with the above (E) and/or (L) and a composition comprising the polyphenylene or modified polyphenylene ether and an aromatic vinyl polymer resin (M) and 0.001-10 parts by weight of a dinitrodiamine (D) of the following formula (I). ##STR1## (wherein X represents a divalent chain aliphatic group, a cyclic aliphatic group or an aromatic group which may contain a halogen or an oxygen atom, R.sup.1 represents a hydrogen atom, a chain aliphatic group, a cyclic aliphatic group or an aromatic group and when both of X and R.sup.1 are chain aliphatic groups, the nitrogen atoms may further bond each other to form a ring through X and R.sup.1 ; R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 are independently a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group of 1-12 carbon atoms and R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 may bond to form a ring).

    摘要: A method for surface treating a resin composition molded article and a method for coating a resin composition molded article are disclosed, which comprise irradiating a molded article with ultraviolet light having an irradiation wavelength in the region of 300 nm or less and, if desired, coating the thus UV-irradiated surface with a coating, the molded article being obtained from a resin composition comprising (I) 100 parts by weight of a resin composition comprising (A) from 5 to 99.5% by weight of a polypropylene resin selected from the group consisting of polypropylene, modified polypropylene, and a modified polypropylene/polypropylene composition and (B) from 0.5 to 95% by weight of at least one thermoplastic resin selected from the group consisting of a polyamide resin, a polyphenylene ether resin, a mixture of a polyphenylene ether resin and a styrene resin, a graft copolymer of a polyphenylene ether resin and styrene, and a saturated polyester resin; and (II) up to 30 parts by weight of at least one compatibilizer for improving compatibility between the polypropylene resin (A) and the thermoplastic resin (B), the compatabilizer being selected from the group consisting of an unsaturated carboxylic acid compound having at least one carboxyl group in the molecule thereof or a derivative thereof, a diamine compound having at least two nitrogen atoms in the molecule thereof or a derivative thereof, and an epoxy-containing copolymer.
