A semiconductor device including a reduced surface field strength type LDMOS transistor which can prevent the breakdown of elements at channel formation portions when a reverse voltage is applied to its drain. A P well and an N well are formed in an N-type substrate to produce a double-well structure, with a source electrode being set to be equal in electric potential to the N-type substrate. The drift region of the N well has a dopant concentration to satisfy the so-called RESURF condition, which can provide a high breakdown voltage a low ON resistance. When a reverse voltage is applied to a drain electrode, a parasitic bipolar transistor comprising the N well, the P well and the N-type substrate develops to form a current-carrying path toward a substrate, so that the element breakdown at the channel formation portions is avoidable at the application of the reverse voltage.

Processing a silver halide color photographic material comprising color developing, desilvering and water washing and/or stabilizing. In this process, a photographic material which has at least one emulsion layer containing a high silver chloride content, and at least one emulsion layer containing a monodisperse emulsion, is continuously processed with a color developing solution containing a water-soluble high polymer compound. The coated amount of silver in the photographic material is preferably 0.75 g/m.sup.2 or less. The color developing solution preferably has a chloride ion content of 0.035 mol/l or more. The water soluble high polymer compound can be a polyester, polyamide, polyurethane, polyether, polycarbonate or a natural high polymer compound, or their derivatives. It is obtained by polymerizing or copolymerizing a monomer containing a copolymerizable ethylene type unsaturated group. The high polymer compound is preferably added in the amount of 0.001-10 g per liter of the color developing solution. By using this process, fluctuations in photographic properties is remarkably reduced, uniformity in developed density is remarkably improved, and the prevention of deposits on the processing tank wall surface is improved.

In a V-ribbed belt, cords made of polyester fibers are embedded into an adhesion rubber layer made of chlorosulfonated polyethylene rubber whose polymer ingredient is so compounded that the content of chlorine is 15 to 35 wt. % and the content of sulfur is 0.5 to 2.5 wt. %, thereby reinforcing the adhesion rubber layer. The cords are treated with two kinds of adhesives. A first adhesive for first treatment is an adhesive having at least one of an isocynate compound and an epoxy compound. A second adhesive for second treatment is an adhesive formed of a mixture having at least resorcineformaldehyde resin and 2,3-dichlorobutadiefie-contained polymer. A surfactant is added to the second adhesive so that the cords and the adhesion rubber layer are Securely adhered, thereby enhancing dynamic adhesive strength of the V-ribbed belt.

In a method for forming a barrel for a two-piece can, before the step of draw-forming the bottom, a taper portion having an inner diameter gradually decreasing toward the bottom surface is formed on a lower part of the side wall of a flat-bottom barrel, corresponding to the outer circumferential frustoconical portion of the bottom of the final barrel or an upper portion contiguous to the outer circumferential portion, and at the step of draw-forming the bottom, at least an upper part of the taper portion is outwardly expanded by insertion of the cylindrical punch. According to this method, a two-piece can having a bottom having a good appearance, a high pressure-resistant strength and an excellent corrosion resistance can be prepared at a high productivity and with a good operation adaptability.
