    摘要: At the time of changing over an open/close body from a manual operation to an automatic operation, a reliable clutch connection is established in a power transmission system between a drive source and the open/close body thus enhancing the operability of the open/close body. An open/close body automatic drive equipment comprises a clutch mechanism which connects or interrupts a power transmission system between a motor for driving a slide door which constitutes the open/close body and the slide door, wherein a clutch of a clutch mechanism is interrupted in a manual manipulation, and in an automatic drive, a clutch is connected to operate the slide door. In such an equipment, a brake mechanism for restricting the movement of the slide door is disposed in the midst of the power transmission system, the moving speed of the slide door is detected, and in case the moving speed is higher than a given speed, the movement of the slide door is restricted by the brake mechanism BK, and then the clutch connection of the clutch mechanism is performed.

    摘要: A sliding door locking device has a fully opened condition locking mechanism and a fully closed condition locking mechanism for locking a sliding door to a vehicle body when the sliding door is at its fully opened position and fully closed position, respectively. When an inside handle is rotated in one direction for closing the sliding door, the inside handle is connected only to the fully opened condition locking mechanism for releasing the fully opened condition locking mechanism. On the other hand, when the inside handle is rotated in the other direction for opening the sliding door, the inside handle is connected to both the fully opened condition locking mechanism and the fully closed condition locking mechanism for releasing both.

    摘要: A windshield wiper assembly provides variable contact pressure between the wiper blade and the windshield by utilization of a lever arm variably movable within a cam slot as the windshield wiper reciprocates across the windshield. A spring provides a bias force between the wiper arm and the lever arm of the assembly. The spring force acts through a moment arm to urge the wiper blade into contact with the windshield. The magnitude of the moment arm through which the spring bias force acts to urge the wiper blade into contact with the windshield is adjusted in accordance with the position of the wiper blade on the windshield as a result of the predetermined configuration of the cam slot which acts on the lever arm to which one end of the spring is attached. In this manner, the contact pressure between the wiper blade and the windshield is reduced at the extreme ends of the windshield wiper throw so as to reduce the noise typically associated with the windshield wiper reversing direction on the windshield.

    摘要: An angular position adjusting device including a planetary gear mechanism intervening between a fixed member and a movable member rotatably arranged relative to the fixed member in such a way that the relative gear engagement position between an inner gear and an outer gear of said planetary gear mechanism is changeable when any one of the inner gear and outer gear is eccentrically rotated by an eccentrically rotatable member. The planetary gear mechanism is in engagement with one of the fixed member and the movable member and a torque limiting coupling means intervenes between the planetary gear mechanism and the other of the fixed member and the movable member. A motor for rotating the eccentrically rotatable member may be mounted on any one of the movable and fixed members. With a compact size a high gear reduction ratio and a high shock damping are realized.
