摘要: A method for setting up a multiple radio access technology (multi-RAT) device-to-device (D2D) communication is disclosed. An application function (AF) in a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may identify a group of multiple radio access technology (multi-RAT) capable WTRUs to a policy control function (PCF), wherein one or more multi-RAT capable WTRUs of the group of multi- RAT capable WTRUs register as having enhanced device-to-device (ED2D) functionality. The AF may select a multi-RAT capable WTRU from the group of multi-RAT capable WTRUs having ED2D functionality, as a relay for extended D2D operation. The device with ED2D function will act as Relay for ED2D (RED2D). The PCF may then reconfigure the RED2D with group related information. The RED2D may then configure D2D communication among the group of multi-RAT capable WTRUs.

摘要: Methods, apparatuses, systems, etc. for handling mobility in connection with protocol data unit (PDU) sessions are provided. Among these is a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) that may receive, from a source access network (S-AN), a handover command in connection with a handover involving a multi-access protocol PDU (MA-PDU) session having one of first and second access legs associated with the S-AN. The WTRU may determine that the second access leg should be associated to the S-AN for the handover. The WTRU may send a session modification message to request modification of the MA-PDU session to cause the second access leg to become associated with S-AN The WTRU may establish a radio resource control connection with a target AN (T-AN), and the first and second access legs (e.g., as a combined access leg) may be associated with the T-AN.

摘要: Systems, methods, and instrumentalities are disclosed for enforcing limited mobility in a mobile network. For example, a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may receive (e.g., receive from a network) a mapping of physical cell identifications (PCIs) to area identifications (AIDs). The WTRU may determine a first PCI associated with a first neighbor cell. The WTRU may determine, based on the first PCI and the PCIs to AIDs mapping, whether the WTRU is allowed to access the first neighbor cell. The WTRU may perform cell selection or reselection with the first neighbor cell as a cell selection or reselection candidate. The WTRU may perform cell selection or reselection based on the WTRU determining that the WTRU is allowed to access the first neighbor cell. The WTRU may determine that the WTRU is allowed to access the first neighbor cell based on the first PCI and the PCIs to AIDs mapping.

Based on the determination, the WTRU may transmit different information to the network. The network slice selection and/or reselection may be initiated by a WTRU or by a network.

摘要: Methods and apparatuses are described herein for dynamic PC5 communication adaptation. For example, a UE may receive, from a vehicle-to-everything control function (V2X CF) or a vehicle-to-everything application server (V2X AS), a V2X provisioning message that includes a first transmission profile and determine, based on the first transmission profile, a first range to configure PC5 communication of a plurality of UEs associated with the V2X platoon. When a number of UEs joining the V2X platoon exceeds a certain threshold, the UE may transmit, to the V2X CF or the V2X AS, a modification request message requesting a second transmission profile. The UE may receive, from the V2X CF or the V2X AS, a modification response message that includes the second transmission profile and determine, based on the second transmission profile, a second range to reconfigure the PC5 communication of the plurality of UEs associated with the V2X platoon.

摘要: Coordinated P-GW change for SIPTO may be provided. A WTRU may send and/or receive one or more flows via a first PDN connection and via a first P-GW. The WTRU may send an indication to the network that at least one flow of the first PDN connection is available for SIPTO. The indication may include one or more SIPTO preferences. The WTRU may receive a message from a MME. The message may trigger establishment of a second PDN connection via a second P-GW. The WTRU may move, while maintaining the first PDN connection, the at least one flow from the first PDN connection to the second PDN connection. The WTRU may deactivate the first PDN connection when the one or more flows have been moved to the second PDN connection and/or when no information has been received via the first PDN connection after a predetermined duration.

摘要: Procedures, systems, and devices for addressing quality of service (QoS) during an inter-system change of a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) are discussed herein. A WTRU may send a packet data unit (PDU) modification request to a network node, such as a session management function (SMF) device, indicating support for reflective quality of services (RQoS). In response to the modification request, the WTRU may then receive an acknowledgement, after which the WTRU may then be able to send data for a PDU of a specific RQoS. The RQoS may be specific to a single PDU or a plurality of PDUs. The modification request may include Session Management (SM) and/or Mobility Management (MM) information. The modification request may be included in an attach procedure or a tracking area update (TAU).

摘要: A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may establish one or more protocol data unit (PDU) sessions via a radio access network (RAN) node. The WTRU may transition to an inactive state. The WTRU may send a connection resume message to a RAN node that indicates a request to resume the established plurality of PDU sessions via the RAN node. The WTRU may receive a message from the RAN node. For example, the RAN node may send a message indicating a subset of the plurality of PDU sessions that are available upon resuming a connection with the RAN node. The WTRU may deactivate at least one established PDU session of the plurality of PDU sessions based on the received message from the RAN node that indicates at least one established PDU session not being included in the subset of the plurality of PDU sessions that are available.
