Abstract: For example, a wireless communication station (STA) may be configured to determine whether a stream of frames is suitable for out-of-order delivery from a first Medium Access Control layer (MAC-layer) process to a second MAC-layer process, the second MAC-layer process is above the first MAC-layer process; and, based on a determination that the stream of frames is suitable for out-of-order delivery, to deliver to the second MAC-layer process one or more frames of the stream of frames according to an out-of-order delivery scheme.

Abstract: This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices related to enhanced multiple access point (AP) coordination. A device may determine a first access point (AP) is an associated AP of a station device (STA). The device may identify a null data packet announce (NDPA) frame received from the first AP. The device may determine a propagation delay between the first AP and the device based on the NDPA frame. The device may identify a multi-AP trigger frame received from the first AP at a first time. The device may cause a data packet to be sent to the STA at a second time, wherein the second time is based on the propagation delay.

Abstract: Methods, apparatuses, and computer readable media for power reduction in a wireless network are disclosed. An apparatus of a first access point is disclosed comprising processing circuitry configure to decode a first PPDU, the first PPDU including a trigger for control (TOC) frame, the TOC frame comprising resource allocations for deferral transmissions, the TOC frame including a first duration field indicating a duration of a transmission opportunity (TXOP). The processing circuitry may be further configured to respond to a determination that the TOC frame includes a resource allocation by encoding a second PPDU including a preamble portion and a media access control (MAC) portion including a receive with condition (ARC) frame, the ARC frame including a second duration field indicating a remaining duration of the TXOP, an address field indicating a MAC address of the first AP, and a condition field indicating a condition.

Abstract: A wireless device, system and method. The device includes a processing circuitry is configured to decode duplicate Request to Send (RTS) frames from a first access point (AP) that is part of an Extended Service Set (ESS) including a second AP, the first AP and the second AP buffering data for the device. The processing circuitry is further to cause transmission of duplicate multi-AP channel bonding (MACB) Trigger frames to the first AP and to the second AP in response to the duplicate RTS frames. Each of the duplicate RTS frames and duplicate Trigger frames have a legacy preamble portion over a first bandwidth of a corresponding wireless channel, and a MACB portion over a second narrower bandwidth of the corresponding wireless channel. The processing circuitry is further to decode a first data frame portion from the first AP and a second data frame portion from the second AP.

Abstract: Embodiments of low-power wake-up packet generation are generally described herein. A wireless device modulates an LP-WUR (low-power wake-up radio) bit sequence with an LP-WUR pulse to obtain a plurality of modulated LP-WUR signals, each modulated LP-WUR signal having a 1× symbol duration. The wireless device multiplexes, in a time domain, an OFDMA (orthogonal frequency division multiple access) signal with a 4× symbol duration with four modulated LP-WUR signals, to generate a multiplexed signal. The wireless device encodes for transmission of the multiplexed signal to a peer device to wake up a WLAN (wireless local area network) radio of the peer device and to another device with an OFDMA signal.

Abstract: A Quality-of-Service (QoS) Management AP is configured to support QoS Management features and to perform a QoS Management Protocol. The AP decodes an Enhanced Add Traffic Stream (E-ADDTS) Request QoS Action Frame (E-ADDTS Req) received from a station (STA) to initiate QoS setup for a traffic stream. The STA may be a QoS Management STA configured to support the QoS Management features and perform the QoS Management protocol. The AP may encode, for transmission to the STA in response to the E-ADDTS Req, an E-ADDTS Response QoS Action Frame (E-ADDTS Resp) which includes a status code to indicate whether the QoS setup has been accepted. When the QoS setup is accepted, the E-ADDTS Resp includes a QoS setup ID within a QoS setup ID field in the E-ADDTS Resp that uniquely identifies the QoS setup for the traffic stream.

Abstract: An access point (AP) may be configured by processing circuitry to operate as a coordinator AP for performing BSS channel level coordination. The coordinator AP is configured to assign non-overlapping channels to one or more coordinated APs of overlapping BSSs to schedule time-sensitive traffic to help ensure bounded latency, jitter and reliability per BSS. In some embodiments, the AP may be configured for performing transmission level coordination and may initiate a coordinated transmission opportunity (TXOP) for resource assignment to control contention access among managed BSSs. To perform the BSS channel level coordination, the coordinator AP is configured to encode a multi-AP trigger frame (M-TF) to initiate the coordinated TXOP. The M-TF may be encoded to include a time-sensitive operation IE indicating how each STA is to access the channel within the coordinated TXOP.

Abstract: Provided herein is a method and apparatus for frame preemption in downlink communications for next generation Wi-Fi. The disclosure provides an apparatus, comprising: interface circuitry; and processor circuitry coupled with the interface circuitry, wherein the processor circuitry is to: encode a Preemptable Physical Protocol Data Unit (P-PPDU) packet; and cause transmission of the P-PPDU packet to a Station (STA) via the interface circuitry, wherein the P-PPDU packet includes a plurality of MPDU segments of an Aggregated MPDU (A-PDU), each MPDU segment includes one or more IPDUs, and wherein the P-PPDU packet includes a midamble (MA) for each MPDU segment. Abstract: Embodiments of a station (STA) and method of communication are generally described herein. The STA may be included in a first plurality of STAs affiliated with a first multi-link logical entity (MLLE). A plurality of links may be established between the first MLLE and a second MLLE, wherein the second MLLE may be affiliated with a second plurality of STAs. The STA may receive a first subset of a sequence of MAC protocol data units (MPDUs). A second subset of the sequence of MPDUs may be transmitted by another STA of the first plurality of STAs. The STA may transmit a block acknowledgement (BA) frame that includes: a number of BA bitmaps, configurable to values greater than or equal to one; and BA control information for each of the BA bitmaps.
