    Abstract: Apparatuses, methods and storage medium associated with animating and rendering an avatar are disclosed herein. In embodiments, the apparatus may comprise an avatar animation engine to receive a plurality of fur shell texture data maps associated with a furry avatar, and drive an avatar model to animate the furry avatar, using the plurality of fur shell texture data maps.     Abstract: Techniques for improved feature detection are described. In one embodiment, for example, a device may include a processor circuit and a feature detection module, and the feature detection module may be operative on the processor circuit to perform a first feature detection iteration for a graphics information element using an integral pixel value array, determine a scaling factor, recalculate the integral pixel value array based on the scaling factor, and perform a second feature detection iteration for the graphics information element using the recalculated integral pixel value array.     Abstract: An example apparatus includes processor circuitry to extract features from image data obtained from a plurality of cameras, the extraction of features performed using a plurality of sequential neural network layers; in response to each of the plurality of sequential neural network layer extracting the features, identify the extracted features in a torso region of the image data via a plurality of attention modules; estimate body landmarks from image data to localize an area; generate an upper heatmap mask based on a geometric center of the image data; calculate a loss function for the image data based on a cross-entropy loss, a pixel-wise loss, and a triplet loss determined from the extracted features and the generated heatmap mask; select lowest correlated classes based on calculated correlations between pairs of a plurality of classes; and calculate voting scores for groups associated with the lowest correlated classes.

    Abstract: An example system for game status detection and trajectory fusion is described herein. The system includes a tracker to obtain a ball position and a player position based on images from a plurality of cameras and a fusion controller to combine multiple trajectories that are detected via the ball position to obtain a fused trajectory. The system also includes a finite state machine configured to model a game pattern, wherein a game status is determined via the ball position, the player position and the fused trajectory as input to the finite state machine.
