    摘要: Provided are a method and device for performing a position update in machine to machine (M2M) communication. An M2M apparatus in an idle mode receives a paging message from a base station. The paging message comprises an action code and a network access type, the action code being an indication for the M2M apparatus to implement position update. When the network access type indicates the allocation of resources for a ranging request, the M2M apparatus transmits the ranging request to the base station by means of an allocated uplink.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a broadband wireless access system, and more specifically, to a reliable group resource allocation method and an apparatus therefor. A group resource allocation operating method of a terminal in a broadband wireless access system according to one aspect of the present invention comprises the steps of: receiving a message which includes group setup information from a base station; determining a channel identifier of a 1st map for group resource allocation received from the base station by using the group setup information; receiving a 2nd map from the base station which includes the channel identifier determined by the base station; comparing the channel identifier determined by the terminal with a channel identifier value included in the 2nd map; and transmitting an extended header which includes inconsistency information to the base station if the channel identifier of the 1st map determined by the terminal is inconsistent with the channel identifier value included in the 2nd map according to a comparison of the results.
