    Abstract: A ring mechanism for retaining loose-leaf pages comprises a housing and hinge plates supported by the housing for pivoting motion relative to the housing. Rings for retaining the loose-leaf pages comprise ring members mounted on the hinge plates for movement with the hinge plates between an open and closed position. An actuator mounted on the housing is moveable between a first position in which the ring members are open and a second position in which the ring members are closed. The actuator is in continuous engagement with the hinge plates when the ring members are closed resisting movement of the actuator. A travel bar is operatively connected to the actuator for movement with the actuator. The travel bar resists movement of the actuator when the ring members are open.

    Abstract: A control apparatus utilizing engine negative pressure for improving combustion efficiency thereof includes an air intake control body that can provide sufficient and accurate amount of air supply required to maintain a proper air-fuel mixture so as to facilitate adequate combustion of gasoline or diesel oil and achieve oil-saving effect thereby. The air-intake control body of the present invention is made up of an air intake vent, a main outlet vent, a linkage passageway extending at the bottom of both air intake vent and the main outlet vent to reciprocally connect and communicate both thereby, and a bifurcated air vent properly branching from the main outlet vent that also has a spring, a metallic ball, an adjusting valve, and an air outlet connector mounted therein to comprise a one-way air passageway for the irreversible travel of intake air there-through. The air outlet connector thereof is linked with air intake manifold of an engine so that the air intake of the running engine will generate an air-flow siphon effect and activate the control body to draw in outside air and provide sufficient air supply for use of the engine, economically improving the combustion efficiency thereby.

    Abstract: Field removable bonnet assemblies for use with valves are disclosed. An example internal valve includes an internal valve body and a field removable bonnet assembly. The field removable bonnet assembly includes a body that is to be removably coupled to the internal valve body and a shaft to be at least partially positioned within the body. The field removable bonnet assembly also includes an adjuster including a first adjuster portion and a second adjuster portion. The body defines a bore having a first diameter portion and a second diameter portion larger than the first diameter portion. The first diameter portion is to receive a valve packing. The second diameter portion to be threadably engaged by the second adjuster portion. The adjuster is externally accessible to adjust the first adjuster portion within the first diameter portion to change a force exerted by the valve packing on the shaft.
