Abstract: According to a storage battery of an embodiment includes a first battery module and a second battery module connected in parallel with the first battery module. The number of first cells connected in series in the first battery module is M, and the number of second cells connected in series in the second battery module is N. When an open circuit voltage at SOC=X % of the first cells and the second cells are Va1 (X) and Va2 (X), respectively, the voltages of the battery modules are M×Va1 (X) N×Va2 (X) in the range where the SOC of the cell is 70% to 100%.

Abstract: A nonaqueous electrolyte battery according to one embodiment includes a negative electrode, a positive electrode and a nonaqueous electrolyte. Abstract: According to one embodiment, an electrode including an active material-containing layer and a film is provided. The active material-containing layer contains an active material containing a titanium-containing oxide. The film is present on at least a part of a surface of the active material-containing layer. The film contains fluorine, an organic atom, and a metal ion. The fluorine includes fluorine bonded to the organic atom and fluorine bonded to the metal ion. The film satisfies a relationship of following formula (1), where F1 is a proportion of the fluorine bonded to the organic atom, and F2 is a proportion of the fluorine bonded to the metal ion: 0.1≤F2/F1≤0.6 (1).

Abstract: A non-aqueous electrolyte battery includes an electrode group including positive, negative and bipolar electrodes and separators interposed between these electrodes. In the positive electrode, positive electrode active material layers are formed on both side surfaces of a current collector. In the negative electrode, negative electrode active material layers are formed on both side surfaces of a current collector. In the bipolar electrode, positive and negative electrode active material layers are formed on both side surfaces of a current collector respectively. In the group, these electrodes are stacked with the interposed separators. The group includes current collecting tabs for these electrodes. Connecting portions of these tabs are arranged in different positions on an outer periphery of the group.
