摘要: According to one embodiment, a secondary battery including a positive electrode, a negative electrode, an insulating layer, and a nonaqueous electrolyte is provided. The positive electrode includes a positive electrode active material-containing layer containing a lithium nickel cobalt manganese composite oxide. The negative electrode includes a negative electrode active material-containing layer having a first surface. The insulating layer includes a solid electrolyte layer having a second surface that is at least partly opposed to or partly in contact with the first surface and containing a Li ion conductive oxide. At least part of the second surface or the first and second surfaces includes a Mn-containing substance. An abundance ratio of Mn on the second surface is higher than that on the first surface.

摘要: According to one embodiment, provided is a lithium zinc secondary battery including a positive electrode, a negative electrode, an aqueous electrolyte, and a separator between the positive electrode and the negative electrode. The negative electrode includes a zinc-including metal body and an oxide on at least a part of a surface of the metal body. The aqueous electrolyte includes zinc and a lithium salt. Zinc is dissolved and deposited at the negative electrode. Lithium is inserted and extracted from the oxide in a range of −1.4 V (vs. SCE) or more and −1.0 V (vs. SCE) or less. A specific surface area of the oxide is 10 m2/g or more and 350 m2/g or less. A mol concentration ratio Zn/Li between zinc and lithium in the aqueous electrolyte is 1.0×10−5 or more and 0.3 or less.

The electrode layer is disposed on the current collector and includes lithium fluoride. A first content of lithium fluoride in a first region is 0.02% by weight or more and less than 2% by weight. The first region is adjacent to an interface between the electrode layer and the current collector, and has a first thickness equal to 20% with respect to a thickness of the electrode layer. A second content of lithium fluoride in a second region is from 2% by weight to 10% by weight. The second region is adjacent to a surface on a reverse side of the electrode layer, and has the first thickness.

摘要: A nonaqueous electrolyte battery includes: a positive electrode containing a positive electrode active material made of a compound represented by a compositional formula of LiMn1-x-yFexAyPO4 (wherein A is at least one selected from the group consisting of Mg, Ca, Al, Ti, Zn and Zr, 0≤x≤0.3, and 0≤y≤0.1); a negative electrode containing a negative electrode active material made from a titanium composite oxide; and a nonaqueous electrolyte, wherein a ratio (IP—F/IP—O) of a peak intensity (IP—F) of a P—F bond to a peak intensity (IP—O) of a P—O bond on the surface of the positive electrode, which are measured by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopic analysis, is 0.4 or more and 0.8 or less.
