Abstract: A countertop water dispenser having a three tiered reservoir system for filtering water and providing immediate dispensing via a spigot, and simultaneously filling a removable pitcher for transporting filtered water to another location. Water flow in the three tiered reservoir system may be controlled by flow valves that float with rising water to stop water flow when a maximum fill level is reached in a reservoir. A flow valve is provided in the middle reservoir as well as the lower reservoir to control the amount of filtered water in each reservoir. An air vent is provided on a filter housing, the air vent venting to a heightened arcuate rib on the countertop dispenser cover. The removable pitcher is mated to the lower reservoir via a pitcher filling mechanism that includes respective plunger or pin valves to allow water to flow into the pitcher when the lower reservoir is filled with water above or equal to the height of the pitcher filling mechanism.

Abstract: A filter housing assembly for fluid filtration which may be attached to, and removed from, a filter base by a push-actuated release. The filter housing assembly has a top portion with an ingress port and egress port extending therefrom, and a protrusion extending from the filter housing longitudinally axial center. The ingress and egress port are formed in an hourglass shape. A filter key having a base with a groove for mating with said projection, at least one finger extending from said base, and an electronic circuit component housing attached thereto for receiving a printed circuit board, is connected to the filter housing top portion by mating said top portion protrusion with the filter key groove. Both of said ingress and egress port have at least one cavity for the passage of fluid therethrough, where each cavity is exposed in a direction facing away from the electronic circuit component housing.

Abstract: A reverse osmosis filter assembly for fluid filtration having a push-activated lock and release mechanism. A push filter design activates a floating key lock upon insertion and extraction, where the filter key may be used simultaneously as a lock and as an identifier for particular filter attributes. The filter base may be situated inline, and in fluid communication, with the raw water ingress, permeate egress, and reject water egress. The reverse osmosis filter housing assembly may be attached to, and removed from, the filter base by a push-actuated release. Abstract: A stabilizer for suppressing vibration, shock, translational, and rotational forces, on a dual cartridge filter system. The stabilizer uses opposing curved surfaces which correspond with, and follow the curvature of, the diameter of each cartridge cylindrical housing. The stabilizer is formed having a stabilizer base with locking members or leg portions radially extending along a bottom portion of each opposing curved surface. The stabilizer is secured to each filter housing by having the locking members inserted within indents on a rim of the filter housing bottom end cap. In alternative embodiments, the locking member is a resilient tab that forms a friction fit with a complementary structure on the filter housing bottom end cap, or an interlocking snap-fit male/female clip complementary to a female/male clip or snap on the filter housing lower cap.
