摘要: This invention relates to a substrate for optical disc recording media which contains a UV-curable resin film between a transparent film and a thermally-decomposing high molecular film, the UV-curable resin film being formed with a UV-curable resin composition comprising given quantities of:(a) a polybutadiene having acrylic or methacrylic group at one or both ends of the molecule,(b) a hydroxyalkyl acrylate or methacrylate,(c) an acrylic- or methacrylic-group-containing diluent, and(d) a photo-polymerization initiator.

摘要: A production method of a liquid crystal display device that is constructed by placing liquid crystals between a first substrate and a second substrate. The production method includes a step of applying seal material onto the first substrate such that the seal material surrounds a liquid crystal filling area, and a step of bonding the first substrate and the second substrate together. The layer of the seal material is formed such that the thickness becomes smaller than the thickness of the liquid crystal layer in the portion corresponding to the display area when the first substrate and the second substrate are bonded together.

摘要: A liquid crystal display device which can prevent the generation of bubbles on an adhesive surface between a liquid crystal display panel and a face plate which protects the liquid crystal display panel is provided. In mounting the face plate on an upper polarizer of the liquid crystal display panel by way of an adhesive material, a picture frame is formed on a periphery of the face plate for enhancing design property. Although the picture frame is formed by printing black ink, a quantity of Si present in the black ink is set to not more than 0.7% and not less than 0.01% thus preventing the generation of bubbles attributed to defective adhesion between the face plate and the adhesive material.

摘要: A face plate on which a frame is formed for improved design aesthetics is bonded to a top surface of an upper polarizer of a liquid crystal display panel with a pressure-sensitive adhesive material. The frame on the face plate is formed from five layers of printing. The pressure-sensitive adhesive material has a three-layer structure having a first pressure-sensitive adhesive member, a base material, and a second pressure-sensitive adhesive member. The first pressure-sensitive adhesive member is formed thicker than the second pressure-sensitive adhesive member, and hence the pressure-sensitive adhesive material can maintain a necessary thickness above the frame formed on the face plate. The reliability of adhesion between the face plate and the liquid crystal display panel is thus improved.

摘要: An optical disk producing apparatus produces an optical disk by bonding a pair of replica disks together. The replica disks are disposed in a sealed space to oppose to each other with a predetermined gap therebetween. The sealed space is defined by a peripheral wall and opposite ends. The peripheral wall is divided into two portions which are slidingly movable relative to each other. When the sealed space is evacuated, the two portions are moved to apply an atmospheric pressure to the replica disks, so that the replica disks are bonded together into an optical disk.
