    摘要: A filter element of the present invention provides low pressure loss, superior filter performance and bonding of filtering material, and compactness. An inlet path of a nearly semicircular configuration which is formed in the width direction of a filter element is open at its upper side and closed at its lower side. An outlet path is closed at its upper side and open at its lower side. Corrugated filtering material has continuous mountain portions and valley portions. The mountain portions have a large radius of curvature R1, and the valley portions have a small radius of curvature R2. The valley portions are bonded to a flat filtering material. The open surface area of the inlet path is larger than the closed surface area of the outlet path 16. Preferably, R1/R2 is set so as to be within the range of 1.5 to 3.0.

    摘要: A locking device for a trunk in a vehicle. The locking device includes a latch configured to change a state of the trunk between locked and unlocked, and a lever configured to drive the latch to an open position. The locking device further includes a lock knob configured to be disposed outward of a vehicle body to visually determine from an outside of the vehicle whether the trunk is in the locked state or the unlocked state. The lock knob is further configured to be selectively placed in a locked position. In the locked position, the trunk is configured to be brought into the locked state by prohibiting the latch from being driven to an open position. The lock knob is further configured to be selectively placed in an unlocked position. In the unlocked position, the trunk is configured to be brought into the unlocked state by enabling the latch to be driven to the open position. The locking device further includes an actuator for enabling the lock knob to be selectively placed in one of the locked position or the unlocked position. The locking device is configured to authenticate a portable key, when the lever is operated with the trunk in the locked state. When the portable key is authenticated, the lock knob is configured to be driven into the unlocked position.

    摘要: A fuel feed apparatus has a flange and a sub-tank detachable each other in its axial direction. A connector protrudes from the flange toward the sub-tank, and opposes to a space formed in the sub-tank. The connector is received in the space when the flange is mounted on the sub-tank. Therefore, the connector can be prevented from interference with a pump module eccentrically arranged in the sub-tank. The space is defined in the opposite side of the fuel pump, so that the inner space of the sub-tank is widely secured and efficiently used. Thus, distance between the flange and the sub-tank can be reduced, so that the height of the fuel feed apparatus can be reduced.

    摘要: A door closing apparatus that is adapted to be disposed on a vehicle door having a door inner panel and an indoor trim includes a door lock mechanism having a latch, a pawl and a latch lever fixedly secured to a rotary shaft of the latch, a bracket adapted to be supported in a fixed relationship with respect to the door panel, and a passive lever rotatably supported by the bracket and provided with a free end portion adapted to contact the latch lever, and a drive source which rotates the passive lever. A shaft portion rotatably supports the passive lever with respect to the bracket, and a nut threadedly engages the shaft portion and is removable from the shaft portion, with the nut being positioned at a side of the bracket facing the indoor trim. In the event the latch lever is unable to rotate (e.g., due to disconnection of an electrical wire or motor malfunction), the indoor trim of the vehicle door can be partially peeled off and the nut removed to manually move the passive lever.
