    摘要: A linear motion guide unit, having force-information detecting means and enabling reductions in size and manufacturing cost, is provided with a casing having a mounting portion combined with two wings which have rolling-contact faces facing a track rail and return holes interconnecting with the rolling-contact faces and incorporate rollers rolling through the rolling-contact faces and the return holes. The rollers move the casing along the track rail while rolling between the rolling-contact faces and the track rail. A load acts on the casing and a force acts on the wings in the direction of moving them farther away from each other. Bulge portions are created on the outer side-faces of the wings by the action of the force, in which tensile-strain detection sensors are provided. Compressive-strain detection sensors are provided in depression portions created next to the bulge portion closer to the mounting portion when the bulge portions are created.

    摘要: An encoder-equipped sealing device, that is, a sealing device that has an encoder incorporated therein is disclosed, which comprises a combination of seal elements, each of which includes an annular metal core having a substantially L-shaped cross section and including a cylindrical portion and a flange portion provided on one end of the cylindrical portion and extending in a direction perpendicular to a direction in which the cylindrical portion extends. One seal element, of the two seal elements, and the other seal element are combined such that a space defined by the cylindrical portion and flange portion of the one seal element, and a space defined by the cylindrical portion and flange portion of the other seal element, face opposite each other, wherein the one seal element further includes an elastic seal portion provided on the flange portion and arranged in the space defined by the cylindrical portion and flange portion, and the other seal element further includes a magnet-based encoder provided on the flange portion. The one seal element further includes a projecting portion on an end of the cylindrical portion on a side on which the flange portion is located and extending beyond a side of the flange portion opposite a side on which the seal portion is located and in a direction in which the cylindrical portion extends.

    摘要: A combination seal is attached to a bearing comprising a fixed element and a rotating element which rotate relative to each other, so as to seal an inner side and an outer side of the bearing. The combination seal is comprised of a seal ring and a slinger. The seal ring is comprised of a reinforcing ring and an elastic seal supported by the reinforcing ring. A leading end side of the elastic seal, supported by the reinforcing ring extending toward the slinger, is brought into contact with a surface of the slinger, which is opposite to the seal ring, when the combination seal is attached to the bearing. During a combining work process, when combining the seal ring and the slinger to form the combination seal, a seal lip does not turn over and the seal lip can be held toward a predetermined direction without using a specific jig during the combining work process and without being particularly careful during performance of the combining work process.
