摘要： A television receiver according to the present invention includes a circuit for doubling line scanning frequency, receives character information signals of frame rate, and in which scanning lines of even fields coincide with those of odd fields. The television receiver is so designed that the scanning of the lines of the odd fields are substantially delayed by H/2 (H; normal horizontal scanning period). Therefore, an excellent picture image can be obtained without flickering and degradation in resolution.

摘要： A two-valued object field is scanned and stored on a line-by-line basis and sequentially read out on a block-by-block basis. Each block has an equal number of signal components each representing the light values of the two-valued object found along a line path. Means are provided for encoding the signal blocks to produce a first code when the signal components are entirely at white level, a second signal when the signal components are entirely at black level, and a third signal when the signal components are of a mixture of black and white levels. The first and second codes are transmitted while the respective signal components are inhibited. The third signal is transmitted followed by the associated signal components.

摘要： A glow plug is provided that can be easily determined as to whether or not it is a new article. An additional circuit formed by connecting a diode, a fuse, and an adjusting resistor in series in this order is connected in parallel to a heating element of a glow plug. The diode is provided so as to have an anode located on the positive electrode side of the heating element and a cathode located on the fuse side. In the case of a unit inspection, by applying a positive voltage for test to a heating element negative electrode connecting portion, it is possible to determine whether or not the glow plug is normal without blowing the fuse before the glow plug is used in a vehicle.

The ventilation portion has a three-dimensionally curved surface that bulges bidirectionally toward an outside of the cooling chamber.

At the step of projecting an X-ray, the light source rotates relatively around the rolling element while the X-ray is projected to an entire region of the rolling element facing the light source. At the step of forming an image, data of the X-ray for one circuit around the rolling element is calculated to generate the image.

The imaging portion images a forward view in front of the vehicle as a forward image from a predetermined distance before a guidance point. The image processor extracts and analyzes visual information of an on-road object from the forward image. The controller specifies a position of the on-road object based on the visual information and map information. The display portion displays and highlights an image of the on-road object at a true position in a road map image, when the position of the on-road object corresponds to the guidance point.
