Abstract:
The object of the invention is to be able, with little expenditure of electrical energy and within a short time, to change over a lock, which can be opened electrically, such that said lock can also be opened mechanically. To achieve this, a locking device with a lock, in particular for a motor vehicle, is provided with a locking mechanism, the rotary latch of which can be latched to at least one pawl in a main latching position and in a preliminary latching position. The locking device has an electric drive with which the lock can be opened electrically in normal operation. It furthermore has an actuating device with which the lock can be changed over from normal operation to emergency operation in the event of an emergency. During this changeover, the lock is adjusted from the main latching position into the preliminary latching position, and the lock can be opened mechanically in said preliminary latching position.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a motor vehicle door lock, which is equipped with a ratchet mechanism, a tripping lever for opening the ratchet mechanism and a ratchet lever that is pivotable about an axis. The ratchet lever renders the ratchet mechanism ineffective, at least with regard to the magnitude and direction of occurring retarding forces, for example in an accident (“in the event of a crash”) ineffective. According to the invention the ratchet lever is connected to an actuating lever applying force to a tripping lever in such an articulated manner that both levers together in the normal operation describe a predetermined normal actuation track (R1) without mechanical blocking and in the crash operation describe a crash actuation track (R2) deviating from the normal actuation track (R1) while simultaneously a mechanical blocking occurs.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a device and a method for actuating a motor vehicle closing device and in particular a motor vehicle side door. The basic structure comprises a motor and optionally a connected transmission and/or a downstream coupling. Also, at least one sensor which is connected to a control unit is provided. According to the invention, the sensor, including the control unit are designed to detect a position (angle α) of the motor vehicle closing device with respect to a motor vehicle body and also at least one additional functional state of the motor vehicle closing device.
Abstract:
In order to minimize the sliding friction between the locking parts, that is, between the pawl and the rotary latch of a motor vehicle door lock, it is advantageous if, during the production process, the different latch surfaces of both locking parts are provided with a stamped contour have straight grooves and also with a stamped contour, characterized in that the provided grooves are oblique. Said grooves which are oblique to the latch surface on the pawl can be produced such that the entire pawl or also the rotary latch are connected in an oblique manner to the base of the lock case housing which can be produced in several ways. Between the straight grooves and the oblique grooves, at least two coverings are provided which ensure that both locking parts are in mutual contact reducing the friction.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a motor vehicle door lock, comprising a lock housing (1) and at least one lever (2) that is arranged in the lock (1) and projects through an opening (4) at least partially out of the lock (1), wherein the lever (2) is formed as a pivot lever (2) which is movable along the opening (4) and mounted in the interior and/or on the lock housing (1) and the opening (4) is equipped with at least one seal (6) that, for the most part, closes an opening gap (5).
