    摘要: The invention relates to fuels for Otto engines containing small proportions of the alkali-metal or alkaline-earth-metal salts of amic acids of the general formulaR.sup.1 R.sup.2 N--CO--A--COOHor of analogous partial amides of tricarboxylic or tetracarboxylic acids whose carbamoyl groups have the general formulaR.sup.1 R.sup.2 N--CO--,where A is the bivalent radical vinylene, ethylene, trimethylene, or tetramethylene and either R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are identical or different, substituted or unsubstituted alkyls or alkenyls of from 5 to 75 carbon atoms or R.sup.1 is hydrogen and R.sup.2 is the group of the general formulaR.sup.3 R.sup.4 N--[C.sub.n H.sub.2n O].sub.x --C.sub.n H.sub.2n --,where R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 are identical or different hydrocarbon radicals of from 1 to 18--preferably from 4 to 13--carbon atoms, n is 3 or 4 (or 3 and 4), and x is from 4 to 99.

    摘要: An improved process for dyeing or printing water-swellable cellulosic fibers and mixtures of said cellulosic fibers with synthetic fibers by contacting the fibers throughout with a dye liquor or print paste which contains, as essential ingredients, water in an amount sufficient to swell the cellulosic fibers, a water-insoluble disperse dye and a water-soluble solvent which maintains swelling of the cellulose if water is removed and which is a solvent for the disperse dye, and heating the contacted fibers to effect fixation of the dye, the improvement comprising using as water-soluble solvent a mixture of(a) polyethylene oxide, a block copolymer of ethylene oxide and propylene oxide or an ether, ester or carbamate derivative thereof and(b) a polyoxyethylated amine.

    摘要: A fuel for gasoline engines contains a small amount of a copolymer of an olefin of from 2 to 40 carbon atoms and/or a cycloolefin of from 3 to 10 carbon atoms with maleic anhydride and/or a copolymer of an alkyl vinyl ether of from 1 to 30 carbon atoms in the alkyl group and/or a cycloalkyl vinyl ether of from 3 to 10 carbon atoms in the alkyl group with maleic anhydride and/or a copolymer of an alkyl vinyl ether of from 1 to 30 carbon atoms in the alkyl group and/or a cycloalkyl vinyl ether of from 3 to 10 carbon atoms in the alkyl group and an olefin of from 2 to 40 carbon atoms and/or a cycloolefin of from 3 to 10 carbon atoms with maleic anhydride having a total molecular weight of from 500 to 20,000 g per mole, the carboxyl groups on the copolymer having been wholly or partly converted with an alkali metal or alkaline earth metal to form an alkali metal or alkaline earth metal salt and the remaining carboxyl groups having been converted with an alcohol and/or an amine of up to 50 carbon atom into the corresponding ester and/or amide groups and/or ammonium salts.
