Abstract:
A method and apparatus for handling duplicated evolved universal terrestrial radio access network (E-UTRAN) radio access bearers (E-RABs) for dual connectivity in a wireless communication system is provided. A mobility management entity (MME) receives an E-RAB modification indication message including several E-RAB identifiers (IDs) set to the same value, and triggers a user equipment (UE) context release procedure with a cause value.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for handling QoE management in dual connectivity in a wireless communication system is provided. A secondary node receives, from a master node, a request message for a Quality of Experience (QoE) management for a UE. A secondary node determines whether to perform the QoE management for the UE. A secondary node transmits, to the master node, a response message based on the determination.
Abstract:
One disclosure of the present specification provides a method for establishing communication by a session management function (SMF). The method comprises the steps of: transmitting to a base station a request message requesting resource allocation between a first protocol data unit (PDU) session and a second PDU session, wherein the first PDU session and the second PDU session are established by user equipment (UE) on the basis of the same PDU session pair ID; receiving a response message from the base station, wherein the response message comprises indication information indicating whether or not a disjoint UP path is allocated to the first PDU session and the second PDU session, respectively; and transmitting the indication information to the UE.
Abstract:
A disclosure of the present specification provides a method for performing, by a first RAN node, communication related to a network slice. The method may comprise the steps of: receiving, from an AMF, a PDU session resource establishment request message including information regarding a second PDU session; on the basis of the first RAN node not supporting a second network slice, determining to move UE to a second RAN node that supports the second network slice; and on the basis of being determined to move the UE to the second node, transmitting a PDU session resource establishment response message to the AMF.
Abstract:
One disclosure of the present specification provides a method by which a next-generation radio access network (NG-RAN) performs communication. Comprised are the steps of: receiving a message from an access and mobility management function (AMF), wherein the message comprises i) a registration accept message, ii) allowed network slice selection assistance information (NSSAI) including a first network slice already allowed for a user equipment (UE), and iii) target NSSAI including a second; and on the basis of the join request included in the first message being the first join request for the multicast group from among the relay UE and the one or more remote UEs receiving a network connection service from the relay UE, transmitting a second message to a base station.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to resource allocation in wireless communications. According to various embodiments, a method performed by a central unit (CU) in a wireless communication system comprises: receiving, from one or more distributed units (DUs), resource information on radio resources for a multicast-broadcast service (MBS) service allocated by the one or more DUs; determining to perform a multicast or broadcast transmission of the MBS service to wireless devices based on a location of the wireless devices and a number of the wireless devices; determining common resources for the multicast or broadcast transmission of the MBS service to be used by the one or more DUs based on the resource information received from the one or more of DUs; and transmitting, to the one or more DUs, information for the common resources for the multicast or broadcast transmission of the MBS service.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a mobility of a wireless base station in wireless communications. According to various embodiments, a method performed by a master node (MN) serving a wireless device with a source secondary node (SN) in a dual connectivity (DC) in a wireless communication system comprises: receiving, from the source SN, a message for initiating a SN change procedure, wherein the message comprises an integrated access and backhaul (IAB) node indication informing that the SN change procedure is related to a mobility of an TAB node; selecting a target SN supporting an TAB function based on the TAB node indication; transmitting, to the target SN, an SN addition request message comprising the TAB node indication; and receiving, from the target SN, an SN addition request acknowledge message.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for support of service continuity between stand-alone non-public network (SNPN) and public land mobile network (PLMN) is provided. A wireless device transmits, to an access and mobility management function (AMF) of a source network, a protocol data unit (PDU) session establishment request to establish a PDU session with the source network via a non-3GPP interworking function (N3IWF) of the source network. The PDU session establishment request includes information informing that data delivery is not available via the PDU session. The wireless device determines to move from the source network to a target network, and transmits, to a user plane function (UPF) of the source network, mobility information informing that the wireless device moves from the source network to the target network.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for fast small data transmission in a wireless communication system is provided. A last serving RAN node receives, from the wireless device and via a new RAN node, an AS-RAI related to early data transmission. A last serving RAN node decides whether a UE context relocation to the new RAN node for the wireless device is required or not based on the received AS-RAI. A last serving RAN node transmits, to the new RAN node, an RRC message based on the decision.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for support of CU-DU split in MT-EDT procedure in a wireless communication system is provided. A Central Unit (CU) of a Radio Access Network (RAN node) receives, from a Distributed Unit (DU) of the RAN node, second information related to a transport block used for the wireless device. The CU decides a Radio Resource Control (RRC) state for transmitting the downlink (DL) data to the wireless device based on the first information related to the DL data and the second information related to the transport block.
