Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a station (STA) device of a wireless LAN (WLAN) system. The STA device includes a radio frequency (RF) unit sending and receiving a radio signal and a processor controlling the RF unit. The processor may generate a physical protocol data unit (PPDU) including a physical preamble and a data field and send the PPDU using the RF unit.
Abstract:
Disclosed is an uplink (UL) multi-user (MU) transmission method of a station (STA) in a wireless LAN (WLAN) system. An UL MU transmission method of an STA in a WLAN system according to an embodiment of the present invention includes receiving a trigger frame including resource unit allocation information for orthogonal frequency division multiple access (OFDMA) transmission, sending an UL MU physical protocol data unit (PPDU) based on the resource unit allocation information, and receiving an ACK frame for the UL MU PPDU.
Abstract:
A method of transmitting a data block in a wireless WLAN and a device using the same are provided. A transmitter transmits a physical layer protocol data unit (PPDU) that includes a legacy-signal (L-SIG). A guard period (GI) of a first orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) symbol that follows the L-SIG is shorter than the GI of a second OFDM symbol that follows the first OFDM symbol.
Abstract:
In the present invention, disclosed is a method for uplink multi-user transmission in a wireless communication system and an apparatus therefor. Specifically, a method for performing, by a station (STA), uplink (UL) multi-user (MU) transmission in a wireless communication system comprises the steps of: receiving, from an access point (AP), a trigger frame including information for UL MU transmission; and transmitting an UL MU PPDU on the basis of the information for UL MU transmission, wherein the trigger frame is a medium access control (MAC) frame, a MAC header of the trigger frame includes a type field and a subtype field, and the type of the trigger frame may be indicated by the type field and the subtype field.
Abstract:
An embodiment of the present invention relates to a method for performing a clear channel assessment (CCA) by STA in a wireless communication system, the method comprising the steps of: receiving a frame including a coloring bit; changing a CCA level to a first level when the coloring bit indicates a basic service set (BSS) to which the STA belongs, and changing a CCA level to a second level when the coloring bit indicates a BSS to which the STA does not belong; and performing the CCA according to the first level or the second level, wherein when the frame has an OFDM-based format, the frame includes a coloring disable bit, and when the coloring disable bit indicates that the frame is a multiuser transmission-related trigger frame, the STA does not perform a change of the CCA level without regard to information indicated by the coloring bit.
Abstract:
A method by which an STA transmits a multi-user (MU) frame in a wireless communication system, according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of: receiving, from an access point (AP), a second downlink frame including time synchronization information and frequency synchronization information; adjusting a time synchronization and a frequency synchronization by using the time synchronization information and the frequency synchronization information; receiving a third downlink frame including MU frame allocation information; and transmitting the MU frame according to the MU allocation information, wherein the time synchronization information is determined by comparing, to a reference value, a difference of measurement values relating to frames exchanged prior to the reception of the second downlink frame, and the reference value is a common value among STAs related to a multi-user transmission.
Abstract:
Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for receiving a frame. A method for receiving a frame in a wireless LAN comprises the steps of: an AP transmitting, to a plurality of STAs, a downlink PPDU including downlink data for each of the plurality of STAs, through a plurality of channels; and the AP receiving, from each of the plurality of STAs, a plurality of block ACK frames transmitted based on a block ACK transmission control field, wherein the downlink PPDU includes the block ACK transmission control field, and wherein each of the plurality of block ACK frames may include ACK information related to downlink data.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a wireless communication system, and a method for peer to peer (P2P) group formation is disclosed. To this end, the method for P2P group formation may include transmitting, from a first wireless device to a second wireless device, a provision discovery request frame including connection capabilities of the first wireless device, and receiving, at the first wireless device, from the second wireless device, a provision discovery response frame including connection capabilities of the second wireless device. Here, the connection capabilities may include indicating at least one of: New in order to initiate a new group, Group Owner in order to become a group owner, and Client in order to become a client; and the first wireless device determines the group owner of a P2P group on the basis of the first connection capability and the second connection capability.
Abstract:
Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for transmitting a data unit in a wireless local area network. A method for transmitting a data unit in a wireless local area network may comprise the steps of: an AP transmitting a first PPDU to a first STA by means of a first frequency resource in a time resource; and the AP transmitting a second PPDU to a second STA by means of a second frequency resource in a time resource overlapping the time resource, wherein the first frequency resource can be allocated to the first STA on the basis of the contentious or a non-contentious channel access of the first STA, and the second frequency resource can be allocated to the second STA on the basis of OFDMA.
