Upon receipt of a first early power off warning (EPOW) signal indicating power instability, a first priority of execution of a first data storage task to be performed pursuant to a new data storage request is decreased, while a second priority of execution of a second data storage task to destage data in nonvolatile storage (NVS) to disk is increased. Upon receipt of a second EPOW signal indicating power failure, a system shutdown procedure is executed.

    摘要: For managing a storage server having improving overall system performance, a first input/output (I/O) request is received. A first priority level is dynamically assigned to the first I/O request, the first I/O request associated with a performance level for an application residing on a host in communication with the storage server. A second I/O request of a second priority level is throttled to allow at least a portion of a predetermined amount of resources previously designated for performing the second I/O request to be re-allocated to performing the first I/O request. The second priority level is different than the first priority level.

The female connector includes a first main body and a number of slots defined in the first main body, and each slot receives a conductive terminal therein. First and second row conductive terminals are arranged along an opposite direction. A number of cables are attached to the first main body and electrically connected to the conductive terminals. A male connector includes a second main body and a number of conductive pins extend through the second main body. Third row conductive pins are corresponding to the first row conductive terminals. Fourth row conductive pins are corresponding to the second row conductive terminals. The connector assembly can transmit signals normally whatever the male connector is plugged to the female connector.

    摘要: In the field of communications transmission, a method, a device, and a system for generating and receiving a phase polarization modulated signal are disclosed. The device for generating the phase polarization modulated signal includes: a Laser Diode (LD), a time division demultiplexer, a phase precoding module, a phase modulating module, a polarization precoding module and a polarization modulating module. The device for receiving the phase polarization modulated signal includes: an optical splitter, a polarizer, a phase demodulating and receiving unit, a Polarization Beam Splitter (PBS), a balanced receiver, a power divider, an exclusive OR, a delayer and a data interface processing unit. Therefore, problems in the prior art that a Differential Quadrature Phase Shift Keying (DQPSK) signal cannot bear and transmit information at a higher rate and that non-linear effect is strong during transmission are solved, and transmission performance of an optical signal is improved.

    摘要: A chassis includes a number of fixing apparatuses, which enables various motherboards with different mounting holes layouts to be selectively mounted in the chassis. Each of the fixing apparatuses includes a base member secured to the chassis, and a fastening member rotatably connected to the base. The fastening member defines a fastening hole extending through an end of the fastening member. Each of the fixing apparatuses is rotatable between a fastening position and an interference avoiding position. To mount one of the motherboards, some of the fastening members are rotated to the fastening-ready positions to align the fastening holes of the fastening members with the corresponding mounting holes of the motherboard, and other fastening members are rotated to the interference-avoiding position to avoid interfering with the motherboard.
