摘要: A method for transmitting touch panel data is provided. The method is adapted for transmitting coordinate data of at least a touch point being touched on the touch panel and includes the following procedures. The at least coordinate data is compressed. A serial data transmission interface command and a serial data transmission interface client address are appended in front of the compressed at least coordinate data, such that the compressed at least coordinate data is encapsulated into a serial transmission data packet. In addition, the serial transmission data packet is transmitted through a serial data transmission channel.

摘要: An electronic apparatus including an electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection circuit, an abnormal voltage detection circuit, an internal circuit and a blocking circuit is provided. The ESD protection circuit receives a plurality of input signals for preventing an abnormal high voltage damage produced by an ESD phenomenon on a path for delivering the input signals, and correspondingly outputs a plurality of voltage-dropped input signals. The input signals include a control signal set and a data signal set. The abnormal voltage detection circuit is coupled to the ESD protection circuit. The abnormal voltage detection circuit receives the voltage-dropped input signals, and produces a blocking control signal according to voltage levels of the voltage-dropped input signals. The blocking circuit is used for receiving the blocking control signal and blocking the control signal set from delivering to the internal circuit according to the blocking control signal.

摘要: Once an active video conference is set up and a user is viewing the active video conference at a video terminal, the video terminal looks for different events that indicate a change in focus of the user to or from the active video conference. For example, the user brings up another application and starts using the application or the user has minimized a window that is displaying the active video conference. The video terminal sends a change of focus message based on the event to a video conference bridge or another video terminal that is streaming the active video conference to the user. The video conference bridge/video terminal processes the message and changes video portion of the stream of the active video conference based on the message. The result is that there is improved use of bandwidth between the video terminal and the video conference bridge/video terminal.

摘要: A video content analysis (VCA) system generates an output regarding a detected condition that provides an indication of a confidence level regarding the detected condition. One example VCA system determines whether a first characteristic of a detected object in a field of vision of the video content analysis system satisfies a first criterion. If so, a first signal is generated under selected conditions. The VCA system also determines whether a second characteristic of the detected object satisfies a corresponding second criterion. If so, a second, different signal is generated if the first and second criteria are satisfied. The first and second signals indicate respective, different confidence levels that an event has occurred. A disclosed example includes a VCA as part of a security system.

摘要: A method and apparatus for increasing channel capacity in an Internet-based voice messaging system. Voice messages are stored in client mailboxes in the voice compression format they are received in a call answering session. During a message pickup session, the voice compression format of the retrieved message is compared to the voice compression formats or codecs supported by the user's terminal. If the voice compression format is not the same, re-negotiation is attempted, and if unsuccessful the voice message is transcoded prior to playback. If the voice compression format is the same, then the voice message is played back without transcoding. The voice message server also includes a voice prompt module which stores voice prompts in all the voice compression formats or codecs supported by the voice message server. The voice prompts are selected according to the supported voice compression format or codec and played back without the need for any transcoding.

摘要: A displaying method for trans-flective type display device is provided. The pixel array of the display device has a selected pixel unit formed by three sub-pixels selected from three basic-color sub-pixels and one enhancement sub-pixel, wherein there is a reflective area within the enhancement sub-pixel. The displaying method includes the following steps. Firstly, an original image having an image data is provided to the display device. Next, when the backlight is turned off, the resolution of the original image is scaled down for obtaining an adjusted image data. Then, another pixel unit consisting of the three basic-color sub-pixels and the enhancement sub-pixel is re-selected, and the driving value of the enhancement sub-pixel is calculated according to the adjusted image data for driving the enhancement sub-pixel.

摘要: A 3D stereo display method and a device thereof. Two sets of shutters are disposed in a display. The shutters are complimentarily interlaced with each other. The opening/closing of the two sets of shutters are controlled by time interval concept. When the display frequency is odd frequency, one set of shutters is activated. When the display frequency is even frequency, the other set of shutters is activated. The two sets of shutters are continuously opened and closed according to the variation of the frequency so that in odd and even frequencies, the left and right eyes can respectively see independent images formed of different subpixels. Therefore, a 3D display effect is presented to bare eyes without reducing resolution.
