    摘要: On a wafer coated with photosensitizing agent, plural shots of exposure are applied through a mask including a plurality of reticles each of which has a circuit pattern and a top surface identification information, while the mask and the wafer are relatively moved. Then the wafer is developed and etched to form convex or concave reticle numbers (top surface identification information) on a metal layer which is the uppermost part or a part close to the uppermost part of the wafer. The reticle numbers enables to distinguish each of reticles on the mask. Next, an under surface identification information is recorded on an under surface of the wafer by laser marking or another method. The under surface identification information enables to distinguish each of the shots of exposure.

    摘要: A solid-state imaging apparatus includes an image pick-up section in which photosensitive devices are arranged in, e.g., a honeycomb G square lattice, RB full-checker pattern due to shifted pixels. Regions void of the photosensitive devices are assumed to be virtual photosensitive devices. A signal processing section generates data for the virtual photosensitive devices by using the data of surrounding photosensitive devices while attaching importance to accurate color reproduction and horizontal and/or vertical resolution. As a result, the number of pixel data are increased in a square lattice arrangement. Therefore, high quality image signals are readily achievable with a smaller number of photosensitive devices than conventional with a conventional apparatus. Interpolation can be executed with the high quality signals to the limit of resolution with an adequate circuit scale. The honeycomb arrangement guarantees the required size of the individual pixel and thereby the sensitivity of the entire apparatus while increasing yield on a production line. False colors particular to a single photosensitive portion can be reduced by, e.g., uniform interpolation. Particularly, when a digital camera is constructed by using an imaging apparatus including optics operable with a silver halide sensitive type of film, false colors can be reduced without resorting to an optical low pass filter.

Thus an image displayed on the liquid crystal display device of the memory card can be viewed even though the memory card does not have a light source for backlighting.

    摘要: Management data for managing an image sensing device can be read from the device even after the device has been mounted. To accomplish this, the management data is recorded in a non-effective imaging zone that surrounds an effective imaging area in the read-out area of the image sensing device. The non-effective imaging zone is a zone from which an output signal is not used in generating a sensed target image. The management data can be sensed from the signal output by the image sensing device. In another aspect, management data for managing an image sensing device can be read from the device even after the device has been mounted on a circuit board. To accomplish this, the management data is recorded on a protective glass, which covers the device, using an ink that reflects infrared radiation. A target image having a uniform pattern is sensed using a light source whose emission includes infrared radiation, and the image obtained by such sensing is displayed on a display. The portion of the obtained target image that is the management data appears darker than other portions. The management data is obtained by reading the darkened portion.

An image of the object may be reproduced in the image input device as a video signal in a blue-back mode by a blue-back circuit. Also, the blue-back circuit processes the luminance signal and the color difference signals so that a high brightness portion of the object is forcibly set to a white level or a family color when the level of the luminance signal outputted from the process circuit exceeds the predetermined range. As a result, the image object may be reproduced in the blue-back mode so that an illegible object can be displayed as a legible document.
