摘要： A liquid medicine reservoir that supplies liquid medicine to a liquid-medicine discharging portion via a communicating portion includes a cylindrical body configured to hold the liquid medicine therein, a first sealing portion to which the communicating portion is connected, the first sealing portion sealing the cylindrical body, and a second sealing portion configured to seal an end of the cylindrical body opposite the first sealing portion. At least one of the first sealing portion and the second sealing portion move relative to each other in accordance with the amount of liquid medicine. A substance configured to inhibit discharging of the liquid medicine is stored in a space in the cylindrical body that is on an inner side of the second sealing portion and that is separate from the liquid medicine.

摘要： An index image is immediately displayed. A recording and reproduction apparatus records images onto a video medium and reproduces the recorded images. A computer checks whether an index image of the video medium loaded in the recording and reproduction apparatus has been recorded on a hard disk or not. When the index image exists, it is displayed on a monitor. When no index image exists, an instruction to form the index image is instructed to the recording and reproduction apparatus and the formed index image is recorded on the hard disk. In this instance, an ID code to specify the medium is stored on the hard disk and is transferred to the recording and reproduction apparatus for the H1 term of a video signal and is also recorded on the medium.

摘要： A recording and/or reproducing apparatus arranged to permit an interchange of record bearing media and selection between recording and reproducing modes of operation on the medium comprises look-up device for looking up the presence or absence of an existing record in each recording or reproducing position on the record bearing medium loaded on the apparatus, and control device arranged to control the look-up device to cause it to perform a look-up action in response to opening of a lid for replacement of the record bearing medium and to cut off the power supply upon completion of the look-up action. The control unit thus lowers electric energy consumption and saves electric energy from being wasted by the look-up action.

摘要： A color image pickup apparatus comprises a color image pickup element and a shutter device for exposing the pickup element to an image light. The apparatus further comprises a color signal level adjusting circuit and a control circuit. In one embodiment, when the exposure time is set to a period shorter than one TV field period, the exposure timing is controlled by the controlled circuit at a predetermined phase of the color temperature change of the illumination. In another embodiment, the level adjusting circuit is controlled by the control circuit in accordance with the phase relationship of the exposure timing relative to the color temperature change of the illumination. Thus, an appropriate compensation of the image signal for the color temperature change can be achieved at the time of the image picking up under the illumination whose color temperature changes periodically.
