The controller controls the common voltage and/or the source voltage on the basis of values detected by the liquid crystal temperature detector in such a way that fluctuation in the light transmittance of the liquid crystal light valve means is reduced.

    摘要: A method and apparatus for adjusting a color difference signal of an image includes a video signal processor. The video signal processor receives a luminance signal and color difference signals representing the image, and accesses a color saturation level from a color saturation level table stored in memory based on the color difference signals. The video signal processor then detects flesh tone in areas of the image based on the luminance signal and the color saturation level, and generates a flesh tone detecting signal based on results of the flesh tone detection.

    摘要: A biaxially oriented blow-molded bottle-shaped container made of synthetic resin comprises a rectangular tubular body provided with a generally central circumferential groove having upper and lower sidewalls. The sidewalls are inclined at an oblique angle within a range of 21.degree.-28.degree. with respect to a vertical longitudinal axis of the container. The rectangular tubular body includes flat walls, each having a central recessed portion with a bottom wall comprising a shaped panel wall for compensating for deformation due to reduced pressure in the container and a shaped peripheral groove invertedly curved around the shaped panel wall. The shaped panel wall has ribs traversing the shaped panel wall parallel to each other, and a crest of each of the ribs has a larger radius of curvature than that of a root thereof. The rectangular tubular body has an upper end which is a regular polygon having twice as many corners as corner panels of a main portion of the body and a shoulder having a lower end portion connected to the upper end of the body. The lower end portion of the shoulder is in the form of a regular polygonal truncated pyramid shape.

A first amplification factor (D3MA) and a second amplification factor (D3HA) are determined according to pixel values in the input image (DIN). Even if the input image includes a fold-over component on the high-frequency side or does not include an adequate high-frequency component, an enhanced image can be provided without causing overshoot.
