    Abstract: In some example embodiments, there may be provided a method that includes receiving, at a user equipment while being served by a first system and during protocol data unit session establishment or modification procedure, a message including an access point name aggregate maximum bit rate value; and when there is an inter-system change from the first system to the second system, setting, at the user equipment, the access point name aggregate maximum bit rate value of a session management context for the second system to the received access point name aggregate maximum bit rate value received while being served by the first system. Related systems, methods, and articles of manufacture are also described.

    Abstract: Various communication systems may benefit from suitable interworking. For example, certain fifth generation short message service systems may benefit from interworking with long term evolution short message service deployments in a visited public land mobile network. A method can include receiving, at a network element, an attach request from a user equipment. The method can also include using an internal policy to find a short message service function that resides at the network element. The method can further include using an address of the short message service function for providing short message service to the user equipment.

    Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for enhancement of quality of service flows, for extended reality services or other services are proposed. For example, a method can include receiving a plurality of quality of service parameters for first packet-based communication. The quality of service parameters can include a packet delay budget for the first packet-based communication having a first end time. The plurality of quality of service parameters can further include a packet validity time for the first packet-based communication having a second end time equal to or later than the first end time. The packet validity time can be applicable to the first packet-based communication on a protocol data unit session basis, a quality of service flow basis, a set of protocol data units basis, or a packet basis. The method can also include transmitting the packet of the first packet-based communication to a further communication device.
