摘要:
A metal nanoparticle composition includes an organic-stabilized metal nanoparticle and a solvent in which the solvent selected has the following Hansen solubility parameters: a dispersion parameter of about 16 MPa0.5 or more, and a sum of a polarity parameter and a hydrogen bonding parameter of about 8.0 MPa0.5 or less. The metal nanoparticle composition is suitable for printing conductive lines that are uniform, smooth and narrow on various substrate surfaces. The metal nanoparticle composition is able to form printed conductive features having a coffee ring effect ratio of about 1.2 to about 0.8, a surface roughness of about 15 or less and a line width of about 200 microns or less.

Process for producing organoamine-stabilized silver nanoparticles with a molar ratio of silver salt to organoamine of about 1:4 to about 1:10 are disclosed. The process includes: forming a solution including an organic solvent and a first amount of organoamine; adding silver salt particles to the solution; adding a second amount of organoamine to the solution; adding a hydrazine to the solution; and reacting the solution to form an organoamine-stabilized silver nanoparticles.

Disclosed is a process for preparing a colorant of the formula wherein M is an atom or group of atoms capable of bonding to the central cavity of a phthalocyanine molecule, wherein axial ligands optionally can be attached to M, which comprises (a) reacting 3-n-pentadecylphenol with 4-nitrophthalonitrile in the presence of a base to form an alkylarylether adduct of phthalonitrile; and (b) reacting the alkylarylether adduct of phthalonitrile with either (i) a metal compound, or (ii) an ammonia-releasing compound in the presence of an alkanolamine solvent, or (iii) mixtures of (i) and (ii), to form the colorant.

A process for the preparation of an unsaturated polyester which comprises (i) reacting an organic diol with a cyclic akylene carbonate in the presence of a first catalyst to thereby form a polyalkoxy diol, and (ii) optionally adding thereto a further amount of cyclic alkylene carbonate in the presence of a second catalyst, and (iii) subsequently polycondensing the resulting mixture with a dicarboxylic acid.
