Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. The described techniques provide for a first base station transmitting a control message to a user equipment (UE). The control message may include an indication to perform a measurement during one or more resources associated with the first base station and that correspond to a second base station. The UE may measure reference signals transmitting via the beam of the second base station and during the time and frequency resources of the first base station. Based on the measurements, the UE determine an interference status correspond to the beam of the second base station and transmits an indication of the interference status to the first base station.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a configuration that indicates a first control resource set (CORESET) configured for a first category of UEs and a second CORESET configured for a second category of UEs with which the UE is associated, wherein the first CORESET has a first frequency domain resource allocation, and wherein the second CORESET overlaps in time with the first CORESET and has a second frequency domain resource allocation that is a subset of the first frequency domain resource allocation. The UE may monitor for a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) candidate based at least in part on a determination that the PDCCH candidate is fully contained within the second frequency domain resource allocation. Abstract: Wireless communication devices, systems, and methods related to mechanisms to implement improved interference tracking over time. A BS may transmit information to a UE that allows the UE to quantize channel measurements into interference states. The UE may transmit an interference change report as triggered by an event, such as an interference metric exceeding a threshold after quantizing into the interference states. This enables the system to capture and respond to abrupt changes. Further, the interference change report may include historic interference information. The UE may include statistics based on the historic interference information. The UE may further be triggered to transmit an interference change report in response to a BS requesting it, or in response to a configured period of time elapsing. The UE may further include MCS information predicted for one or more future time periods based on historic information, which the BS may use in scheduling.

Abstract: A two stage scrambling design is provided for generating and decoding Resource Spread Multiple Access (RSMA) modulated streams. A User equipment (UE) scrambles each data stream of a set of data streams using a first scrambling sequence to generate a first set of scrambled data streams, and then scrambles the first set of scrambled data streams using a second scrambling sequence to generate a second set of scrambled data streams, wherein the second scrambling sequence is longer than the first scrambling sequence. The UE then transmits the second set of scrambled data streams. A receiving base station determines the first and second scrambling sequences used by the UE and decodes the transmissions received from the UE based on the determined scrambling sequences.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for interference mitigation. Certain aspects provide a method for wireless communication. The method generally includes performing communications, in a first channel, on a first downlink in a first time period based on communications in a second channel adjacent to the first channel being performed on a second downlink in the first time period. Communications in the first channel on a first uplink are performed in a second time period based on communication in the second channel being performed on a second uplink in the second time period. The method further includes refraining from communicating in the first channel on one or more resources in the first time period or the second time period to mitigate cross-link interference with a third channel adjacent to the first channel.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for ordering a plurality of potential base stations to serve a user equipment on a supplemental uplink and providing random access channel (RACH) configuration parameters for each of the plurality of potential base stations to the user equipment.
