    摘要: In a method for analyzing cerebrospinal fluid perfusion by magnetic resonance imaging, a contrast agent is directing injected into volumes containing cerebrospinal fluid and a magnetic resonance image of those volumes is obtained. After a suitable waiting time, at least one further magnetic resonance image of the volumes is obtained. The (at least) two magnetic resonance images of the volumes are then compared and the degree of perfusion of the contrast agent is identified as an indicator of the perfusion and/or flow of cerebrospinal fluid in the volumes.

    摘要: A radioshielded assembly contains components that require a d.c. supply and a multi-pole terminal arrangement connected between power supply terminals of the components and an external d.c. supply. At least one pole of the multi-pole terminal arrangement is fashioned for conducting a potential that differs from a reference potential. A switching stage is inserted between that pole of the terminal means that does not carry reference potential and the corresponding power supply terminals of the components. An actuation arrangement is in interactive communication with the switching stage, as a result of which the connected pole can be electrically connected to the power supply terminals or the pole can be disconnected from the power supply terminals and electrically connected to a reference potential so that interference signals cannot reach the components via the power supply lines. An arrangement of electrochemical elements is connected parallel to the power supply terminals for supplying power to the components when the pole is disconnected from the power supply.

    摘要: An input device for shifting a marker on a monitor has a completely closed, hermetically sealed and sterilizeable housing with an electrical shield, at least one sensor arrangement for detecting movement of the housing, an evaluation unit connected with the sensor arrangement, and a conversion unit connected to the evaluation unit downstream for converting the signals emitted by the evaluation unit into corresponding modulated signals. The sensor arrangement, the evaluation unit and the conversion unit are arranged entirely within the shield as is a transmitting unit for radiating the modulated signals into the environment, where they are detected by a receiver positioned in the environment and are converted into signals for shifting the marker on the monitor.

    摘要: The invention relates to an upper body MRI scanner comprising a magnet arrangement for producing a horizontally oriented homogeneous main magnetic field, said magnet arrangement being designed to examine the upper body of a standing patient. An image acquisition unit is provided for continuously creating upper body image of the standing patient. A quality checking unit is designed for automatically determining a quality metric characterizing the quality of the upper body images.
