The device includes wireless process field device electronics disposed within the industrial process field device and at least one battery cell disposed within the industrial process field device and operably coupled to the wireless process field device electronics. A circuit is provided that senses an electrical characteristic related to the at least one cell and provides an output to a switch to decouple the at least one cell from the industrial process field device electronics in response to certain conditions. Such conditions include too much current flowing from the at least one cell; the voltage of the at least one cell being too low; or a short circuit being generated or otherwise observed.

摘要： The invention comprises an additional zipper lock attachment. The zipper lock attachment is form of a spring steel rod with its ends overlapping one another in parallel flush engaged position. An intermediate portion of the steel rod has lateral bend. The ring is of a size whereby a wearer of jeans having a front opening with an overlapping row of lugs on one side of the opening and on the other side of the opening which may be locked into one another by a zipper closure operated by a handle, and wherein the handle has an opening, and wherein the jeans have a front button for buttoning the other side of the opening onto the one side, will take the attachment and insert one of the overlapping ends through the eyelet in the handle by momentarily separating the ends, once the zipper closure has been zipped to the top of the zipper to close the opening, and thereupon will slip the overlapping ends of the ring like attachment over and onto the button to attach the attachment to the zipper closure and the jeans to lock the zipper closure in a closed position. Thereafter, the other side panel of the jeans may be buttoned over the ring attachment, while the ring is attached onto the button.

摘要： A raisable hood plate mechanism for a vehicle hood comprises a pair of large plates laterally spaced in separate centered openings on opposite sides of the hood. The plates are pivotable along front edges and raisable at rear edges to provide rear-facing engine compartment ventilation, as well as glare deflection from the operator's eyes and bug and stone deflection from the windshield. 摘要： An interface unit is provided for transmitting signals to and receiving signals from several transmitters. 摘要： A facsimile transceiver comprising a document/copy receiving drum, a motor for rotation of the drum about the drum axis and a read/write head mounted for linear movement in a direction parallel with the drum axis. When the transceiver is operating in the receive mode, the copy medium having adhesive along at least one edge circumscribes the drum in a closed loop so as to eliminate the necessity for transmitter-receiver angular synchronizing signals which would otherwise be required for locating the copy margin adjacent the edge of the copy paper. After completion of a transmission, the copy medium is severed along a line so as to provide an appropriate margin for the copied information content. The closed loop is formed from a single sheet having adhesive along at least one edge for purposes of forming a bond between opposite edges of the sheet when the sheet is applied to the drum. The read/write head includes a cutting wheel which is adapted to sever the sheet along the appropriate line when the head is moved in a cutting stroke along the length of the drum with the cutter wheel in contact with the sheet.

A wheeled base provides mobility to the device. A post and lifter arm support the patient during the transfer. The post is connected to a stabilization arm, which temporarily connects using a stabilization interface to a stabilization bracket. The stabilization bracket is typically attached rather permanently to a wall, ceiling, or other structural feature that provides substantial stability to the system. In various embodiments, the lifter arm may be actuated by hydraulics, the stabilization arm may be extendable, and a pair of extra wheels on the mobility base are adjustable horizontally (e.g., along one hedge of the base frame) or vertically (down to decrease the load on the casters, or up to allow the lifter to be “crabbed” sideways in confined spaces).

摘要： Wheelchairs in various embodiments include a variable-position drive system that can automatically move the drive wheels fore and aft through an approximately 41 cm range. Such a system provides all the benefits of front-, mid-, and rear-wheel drive configurations in a single wheelchair, for example, to adjust the drive wheels toward the rear for stability and speed outdoors and toward the center for maneuverability indoors. The performance-optimal placement of drive wheels often depends on the physical environment (e.g., terrain), on the combined center of mass of the wheelchair and user, and on the user's cognitive functioning, trunk stability, and driving skills. One disclosed embodiment includes a pair of mid-position drive wheels that can automatically be repositioned forward or backward to accommodate changes in terrain and center of mass, which will improve the power wheelchair's stability and maneuverability and, consequently, safety and ease of use in a wider range of scenarios.
