    Abstract: An electronic device according to various embodiments of the present disclosure includes: a first communication circuit; a second communication circuit; a processor operatively coupled with the first communication circuit and the second communication circuit; and a memory operatively coupled with the processor. The memory may store instructions, when executed, causing the processor to receive from a base station (BS) a synchronization signal including identification information of the BS via the first communication circuit, identify a direction from the electronic device to the BS by transmitting and receiving at least one signal with respect to the BS via the second communication circuit based on the identification information of the BS, and perform beam training by using some beams corresponding to the identified direction among a plurality of beams supported by the electronic device. Other embodiments are also possible.

    Abstract: An electronic device of various embodiments can include a broadcast receiving module, a connector including a first pin and a second pin, and a processor, wherein the processor can be configured to: identify, through the first pin, the type of external electronic device connected through the connector; drive the broadcast receiving module in a state in which an external antenna included in an external electronic device and the broadcast receiving module are electrically connected through the first pin when the external electronic device corresponds to a designated electronic device type; receive a broadcast signal from the external antenna by using the broadcast receiving module; and output, through the second pin, an audio signal generated on the basis of at least a part of the broadcast signal to a designated device. Other embodiments are also possible.

    Abstract: A first electronic device for expanding a wireless communication includes a first RAT communication unit for transmitting a signal to or receiving a signal from a reader via a first radio access technology (RAT). the first electronic device also includes a second RAT communication unit for transmitting a signal to or receiving a signal from at least one second electronic device via a second RAT. The first electronic device further includes a processor for transmitting, to the at least one second electronic device, a message requesting to initiate a communication using the second RAT, and performing control such that a communication using the first RAT between the at least one second electronic device and the reader is performed by using the second RAT.

    Abstract: An electronic device comprises: a first cover constituting the front surface of the electronic device; a second cover constituting the rear surface of the electronic device; a memory included in a space formed between the first cover and the second cover; a processor included in the space and electrically connected with the memory; a first antenna and a second antenna included in the space and electrically connected with the processor; and a switch included in the space and connected to the first antenna and/or the second antenna, wherein the memory can include, during execution, instructions for: allowing the first antenna and the second antenna to be connected by shorting the switch when the processor executes a function corresponding to the first antenna; and allowing the first antenna and the second antenna to transmit magnetic field signals together. Other examples are also possible.
