    Abstract: According to an example embodiment of the disclosure, a method for performing network slice reselection by a User Equipment (UE) is disclosed. The method comprises identifying allowed network slices within a first Network Slice Simultaneous Registration Group (NSSRG) for first applications at the UE. The method comprises receiving an initialization request from a second application at the UE. The method comprises determining one or more UE Route Selection Policy (URSP) rules for the second application. The method comprises determining whether the network slice required for the second application corresponds to one of the one or more allowed network slices within the first NSSRG. The method comprises transmitting, to a network, a second registration request for registration of the UE to a second NSSRG including the network slice required for the second application based on the URSP rules for the second application.

The embodiments herein provide a method of a network entity for handling a mobile base station relay (MBSR), the method comprising: identifying that an MBSR authorization state changes to not authorized; transmitting, to a base station, a first message including an authorization indication indicating that the MBSR authorization state is not authorized; receiving, from the base station, a second message including a first indication indicating that an operation for a non-authorized MBSR has completed; and performing a de-registration procedure with the MBSR in response to receiving the first indication.

    Abstract: A method for accessing one or more services by a User Equipment (UE) in a multi-Radio Access Technology (multi-RAT) network, includes: receiving, from applications associated with the UE, a request to access at least one of services or slices within the multi-RAT network; based on the received request and mapping information, determining at least one of RATs or Subscription Permanent Identifiers (SUPIs). The mapping information indicates a relationship between slices and at least one of RATs associated with networks within the multi-RAT network and SUPIs stored at the UE; and based on the determined at least one of RATs, and the SUPIs to access the requested at least one of the services or the slices, establishing a connection with at least one of the networks within the multi-RAT network.

Disclosed is a method of operating a user equipment (UE) operable to communicate with a telecommunication network, comprising the steps of: the UE sending to the telecommunication network a control plane service request (CPSR) message with cellular Internet of Things (CIoT) user data, associated with a protocol data unit (PDU) session; the UE receiving from the telecommunication network a SERVICE ACCEPT message, indicating that the PDU session is inactive in the network; and the UE verifying if the PDU session has an identity the same as an identity of the PDU session included in the CPSR message with CIoT user data and, if so then the UE determines that the CIoT user data was not successfully sent to the telecommunication network or to a final recipient.
