摘要: In an example embodiment, a method of optimizing service delivery performed by a UE operating in EN-DC mode is disclosed. The method comprises detecting that a network service is ongoing at the UE using a first radio access technology (RAT), based on an application request sent by the UE to a network, wherein the first RAT is one of long-term evolution (LTE) and NR. The method further comprises detecting, during the ongoing network service being availed using the first RAT, a frequency of one or more NR network procedures being performed by the UE to be greater than a first threshold frequency. The method further comprises modifying a measurement interval associated with an NR cell measurement procedure, in response to detecting the frequency of the NR network procedures to be greater than the first threshold frequency. Furthermore, the method comprises continuing the Network Service using the first RAT.

The method further includes detecting, by the UE, an occurrence of a trigger condition in connection with at least one of the first SIM and at least one second SIM and enabling, by the UE, a paging restriction to the at least one second SIM based on the occurrence of the predetermined trigger condition.

摘要: Disclosed are methods and systems for prioritizing cell selection for availing LADN services. A UE prioritizes cells for selection based on availability of LADN services in the cells. For handover, a base station of a cell, providing LADN services to the UE, prioritizes target cells that provide LADN services that are being currently availed by the UE for ensuring LADN service continuity. The base station initiates addition of secondary cells that provide additional LADN services that are intended by the UE. The UE can predict if a paging message is relevant to a LADN service and send serving requests to the serving cell or other cells to avail the LADN service. The UE detects relay UEs providing LADN services and prioritizes the relay UEs for selection based on availability of LADN services. The UE buffers data if the UE is located at an edge of a LADN service area.

摘要: The embodiments herein discloses a method and a network for handling UEs travelling in predefined/predetermined route. The method includes determining by a network one of at least one parameter and learned mobility patterns of at least one UE. The at least one parameter is determined based on a negotiation with the at least one UE. The at least one parameter includes at least one of a source information, a destination information, a speed, a start time, a guard percentage, and a predefined route of the at least one UE. Further, the method includes sending at least one pair of a tracking area identifier list (TAI'S) and a timing map to the at least one UE based on one of the determined at least one parameter and the learned mobility patterns of the at least one UE.

摘要: A method for performing mobility-measurements in new radio (NR) based 3GPP mobile communication network is provided. The method includes receiving network information with respect to a geographical area from one or more user equipments (UEs) operating in geographical area for a predefined duration of time. The received network information is classified at various time-instants during the predefined duration of time as at least one of an NR spectrum availability and NR spectrum non-availability. An overall probability of availability of the NR spectrum within the area is calculated for a time-instant subsequent to the predefined duration of time based on the classified network information. The UE is enabled for scheduling NR measurements within the area based on the calculated probability.

摘要: The various embodiments of the present invention disclose a method of transmitting a Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) discovery frame over a PC5 link. According to one embodiment, the method includes registering, by one or more User Equipment's (UE), with a Prose Server by sending a capability information for receiving direct discovery or communication parameters, policies, authorization, provisioning and radio resources by the prose server, the one or more UE's to include a WLAN discovery frame in a PC5 message, transmitting, by a first User Equipment, a PC5 discovery message to a second User Equipment, indicating by the second UE, a message to a neighbor awareness networking (NAN) discovery engine indicating the reception of PC5 Discovery message along with the WLAN discovery frame, and establishing by the second UE, a WLAN communication link with the first UE, without performing a WLAN discovery search.
