Abstract: Provided is a humidity conditioning method that enables absorption and desorption of moisture with low power consumption. The humidity conditioning method includes: an adjustment step of adjusting a moisture amount of hygroscopic liquid; and a measurement step of measuring concentration of a hygroscopic substance contained in the hygroscopic liquid, in which at the adjustment step, at least either moisture absorption processing of causing moisture contained in air to be absorbed by the hygroscopic liquid or regeneration processing of separating the moisture from the hygroscopic liquid is performed, the regeneration processing includes atomization processing of irradiating at least a part of the hygroscopic liquid with an ultrasonic wave to generate an atomized droplet from the hygroscopic liquid and perform removal, the atomized droplet contains a first droplet and a second droplet whose particle size is larger than a particle size of the first droplet, a concentration region of the hygroscopic substance relative to total mass of the hygroscopic liquid includes a first concentration region in which the first droplet is generated, and a second concentration region in which the second droplet is generated and in which concentration is lower than that in the first concentration region, and the moisture amount of the hygroscopic liquid is adjusted so that the concentration is included in the first concentration region on a basis of a measurement result obtained in at least the measurement step.

Abstract: A daylighting member includes a first daylighting section and a second daylighting section having different daylighting properties from the first daylighting section. The first daylighting section includes an optically transparent first substrate and a plurality of optically transparent daylighting portions provided on a first surface of the first substrate. The first daylighting section diffuses incoming light in a desired direction and emits the incoming light. The second daylighting section diffuses and emits the incoming light. The first daylighting section and the second daylighting section are placed side by side in a direction intersecting a direction in which the daylighting portions extend.

Abstract: This liquid crystal display device (100) includes: a vertical alignment liquid crystal layer (30); first and second substrates (10, 20); first and second electrodes (11, 21) arranged on the first and second substrates to face the liquid crystal layer; and two photo-alignment films (12, 22). Each pixel region includes first and second liquid crystal domains, of which the reference alignment directions defined by the two photo-alignment films are a first direction and a second direction different from the first direction, respectively. The first electrode has a slit cut region (11R1), through which a slit (11s) has been cut to run substantially parallel to the reference alignment direction, in a part of a region allocated to each of the first and second liquid crystal domains. The width (W) of the slit is set so that when the highest grayscale voltage is applied to the first electrode, an effective applied voltage decreases by at least 0.5 V and the alignment direction of liquid crystal molecules (30a) shifts with respect to the reference alignment direction by less than 45 degrees.
