    摘要: An electrical connector assembly for electrically coupling two components, such as two circuit boards, comprises a socket coupled to a first component and a blade coupled to a second component. The socket includes at least a first and a second conductive engagement member arranged on opposite sides of a spatial gap. The blade includes at least a first and a second conductive pad arranged on opposite sides of an insulator. The blade has a width complementary to the socket's spatial gap such that when inserted into the spatial gap the blade's first conductive pad forms an electrical contact with the socket's first conductive engagement member and the blade's second conductive pad forms an electrical contact with the socket's second conductive engagement member. The blade comprises first and second connector mechanisms that are arranged off-set from each other for electrically coupling the first and second conductive pads, respectively, to the second component.

    摘要: An angled coupling for optical fibers can comprise a body (10) having an incoming aperture (18a) and an outgoing aperture (18b), from which an incoming hollow waveguide (12a) and an outgoing hollow waveguide (12b) extend into the body at an angle (22). A reflective surface (24) is situated at the vertex of the angle and is oriented substantially perpendicular to a bisector of the angle. The coupling also comprises an incoming coupling structure (32a) and an outgoing coupling structure (32b), each configured to attach an optical fiber to the corresponding aperture.

A connection for optically coupling two computing units can comprise a partition situated between the computing units and on which an interposer is mounted.

The methods include, in one aspect, placing at least one panel on the flange surfaces of joists with an activatable adhesive provided between the panel and the flange surfaces to bond the flange surfaces to the panels in an effective long lasting manner. In another aspect, adhesive is introduced into a groove array in a joist flange surface to attach a panel pre-positioned on the grooved flange surface. Building frame structures, such as subflooring assemblies, made by the methods are also provided.

    摘要: A media gateway is coupled to an Internet Protocol (IP) network through a router. The router and the media gateway communicate through a slim protocol that allows the media gateway to reserve connections over the IP network that have certain minimum bandwidth and latency attributes. The router handles the obtaining of the requested IP circuit for the client. The media gateways only need to execute a relatively simple client application and do not have to be independently capable of obtaining IP-QoS information from the IP network.
