Abstract:
A device and method enables rapid gel casting and two-dimensional electrophoresis of a gel matrix. Agarose gel liquid is poured directly onto a flat metal surface for rapid instant formation of gel matrix. An open frame without bottom plastic anchors the gel matrix for easy handling. Electric pathways are reserved to 4 sides of the gel matrix, which permits the gel matrix being used in 2 orientations.
Abstract:
A high capacity ink supply apparatus and particular an ink supply apparatus for inkjet printers mainly includes a high capacity tank, a duct and an ink cartridge. The high capacity tank has an air intake device to receive air and a check valve to allow the ink to flow in one direction. The ink cartridge is formed in a standardized fashion to be housed in a core trough of an imitated outer cartridge which is compatible with the original ink cartridge of a corresponding brand. Such a structure can increase ink storage capacity and reduce ink utilization cost and improve the applicability for various brands.
Abstract:
A car stereo hard disk player and particularly a player coupling with a car stereo to broadcast digital music (such as MP3) includes a case, a hard disk drive, a music control unit and a radio emission unit. The invention enables users to store a great amount of music through computers or the like to a portable hard disk drive for broadcasting in the car to save the trouble and risk of changing music CD during driving.
Abstract:
A telephone dialing apparatus capable of directly downloading electronic telephone directory from a mobile phone subscriber identity module (SIM) card to provide a telephone dialing function for different telephone systems use comprises a SIM card socket, a SIM card reader, a control unit, a memory unit, a dialing unit, a human-machine interface, an alarm unit and an information processing unit. The apparatus allows users free from repeatedly entering the electronic telephone directory. More than one telephone systems are allowed to utilize the mobile phone electronic telephone directory to perform dialing operations.
Abstract:
A method for a vehicle dispatching system for controlling dispatching communications between vehicles and a control center mainly includes a control center and at least one vehicle. Every vehicle is equipped with a car phone. The control center includes a control computer and a data transmission device. The car phone consists of a broadcast receiver, a data transceiver, a GPS receiver, and a distance counter. By the method of the invention, the available vehicle nearest customers may be dispatched to meet customer service requirements at minimum communication costs.
Abstract:
A switching control device for transmitting calls received by a cellular phone to a fixed-network telephone enables people to receive calls transmitted to a cellular phone by way of a fixed network telephone particularly equipped with a plurality of extension lines via conversion operations. It operates with a cellular phone/fixed network telephone switching device in cooperation with an on/off device. When a cellular phone receives an incoming call, the switching device will first detect the main telephone set and its extension lines of their individual status of use; and the on/off device is selectively actuated of its on and off states and also its vibration ring operation according to the detection. Thereby a user can pick up a nearest extension line without rushing back to a main telephone set when an incoming call is transmitted to a cellular phone.
Abstract:
A 8 mm video tape rewinder including an upper casing and a lower casing, containing a motor, a slide plate, a tape deck, a push button, a transparent cap, a DC seat, a circuit board, a microswitch, a pair of push arms, a rewinding shaft, a driven shaft and multiple springs, whereby when rewinding the tape, the push button is pushed inward to push the slide plate inward so that a pushing rib thereof touches the microswitch and pushes the push arms rearward, and the push rod of the push arm stretches the tape outside the tape casing for rewinding the tape and when the push arms reach the end, a projection of one of the push arms pushes and engages with a rear projecting post of the slide plate so as not to be pulled back by a spring, and when the rewinding operation is completed, the tensioned tape will exert pushing force on the push rod to push away the engaged projection and projecting post, permitting the slide plate to be pulled back by the spring and the transparent cap can be opened for taking out the tape.
Abstract:
An auxiliary illuminating device of a camera including a main body having a front and a rear faces, an engaging base disposed on the front face, a first battery seat disposed on the rear face, an illuminating light, a support rod connecting the illuminating light to the main boy, and an inner circuit, characterized in that the illuminating light has a light tail including two pivotally openable portions which can be opened to expose a second battery seat contained in the light tail so as to install an additional battery therein, whereby through the coordination of the inner circuit, a single battery or two identical or two different batteries with different capacitances can be used to simultaneously supply power.
Abstract:
A continuous battery-charging replacing device suitable for portable camera, walking telephone, portable computer, etc. wherein multiple batteries can be received at a time for sequential charging, the replacing device including a seat member having multiple battery engaging seats and a switch control device pivoted to the seat member and a circuit control device cooperating with the switch control device; the switch control device can associate with a general battery charging device and the engaging seats can receive multiple batteries so that the circuit control device can cooperate with the switch control device for continuously charging the batteries in sequence.
Abstract:
An improved plastic wrap dispenser having a battery-operated cutting device adapted for cutting a section of thin plastic wrap off a roll thereof, commonly used to cover the top of containers with foods, fruits and vegetables received therein. A cutting device fixed on a mount is able to be slidably moved along a fixed track by way of a transmission mechanism powered by a motor which is in turn actuated by a number of batteries. Thus, a person can get hold of both corners of the outward extended thin plastic wrap and make a smooth and continuous cut without getting the dispensed thin plastic wrap messed up.
