Abstract: A system includes at least partially autonomous vehicles, at least partially separated interconnected roadways, and a management system. Each of the vehicles is configured to cooperate with another vehicle or an area controller. The management system is configured to receive requests to transport, which may have respective start points and respective destinations. Additionally, the management system is configured, responsive to receiving the request, to assign a vehicle to fulfill the request. The assigned vehicle is configured to transport a person from the respective start point, at least in part via the interconnected roadways, to the respective destination.

Abstract: Methods and systems to dynamically and optimally sequence routes based on historical and real-time traffic conditions, and to predict anticipated traffic conditions along the dynamically generated route are disclosed. Route sequencing may be based on a set of predefined constraints, e.g., distance, time, time with traffic, or any objective cost function. The system of the present invention may be implemented in a vehicle fleet comprising one or more vehicles with one or more depots, or with no depots. An optimization server obtains real-time, historical and/or predicted future traffic, weather, hazard, and avoidance-zone data on road segments to generate a route, while staying within parameters and constraints set by an automatic machine learning process, an artificial intelligence program, or a human administrator. The platform may be coupled to sensors positioned on roads, e.g., speed radar or camera, and sensors positioned in vehicles, e.g., GPS system or on-board diagnostic sensor.

Abstract: A method of tracking at least one emergency service provider is disclosed. An electronic history is compiled that includes at least one identifier of a service provider, at least one identifier of an event to which the service provider responded, and GPS data identifying the geographic location of the service provider at each time interval within the duration of the event. A user interface within which is displayed a first identifier of a first event is generated to a display device. A selection of the event identifier is received from a user. In response to the selection of the identifier, an aerial view of a geographic region within which the first event took place is generated. At least one icon is displayed in the aerial view representing the service provider at the geographic location corresponding to at least one time interval during the event.

Abstract: A computer system operates to receive transport service requests from computing devices of requesters within a geographic region. The system matches each transport service request with an available transport provider operating a service vehicle within the geographic region, and determines a location bias for a first transport provider that operates a corresponding vehicle within the geographic region, the location bias being associated with a preferred location of the first transport provider. The system may then match the first transport provider to a transport service request based on (i) the location bias of the first transport provider, and (ii) a destination of the transport service request which, upon fulfilling the transport service request, results in the first transport provider being positioned to arrive at the preferred location within a future time interval.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to a system having a memory, a plurality of self-driving systems for controlling a vehicle, and one or more processors. The processors are configured to receive at least one fallback task in association with a request for a primary task and at least one trigger of each fallback task. Each trigger is a set of conditions that, when satisfied, indicate when a vehicle requires attention for proper operation. The processors are also configured to send instructions to the self-driving systems to execute the primary task and receive status updates from the self-driving systems. The processors are configured to determine that a set of conditions of a trigger is satisfied based on the status updates and send further instructions based on the associated fallback task to the self-driving systems.
